A population control group linked to white supremacy slammed pro-life advocates this week for trying to defund the abortion chain Planned Parenthood.

Negative Population Growth, an anti-immigrant environmentalist group, released a report Tuesday that supports the No. 1 abortion business in the United States and the hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars that it receives each year, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

“NPG opposes … the ‘defunding’ of Planned Parenthood, or crippling restrictions on the use of federal funding or subsidies to private insurance policy holders for reproductive services,” according to the group’s report.

The environmentalist group said Planned Parenthood helps the environment by reducing the human population through birth control and abortion. It slammed President Donald Trump for reinstating the Mexico City policy, which prohibits international funding from going to groups that promote and provide abortions overseas, and Republicans in Congress who are trying to defund Planned Parenthood.

“The Trump Administration’s desire to see both freedom of reproductive choice and federal funding for contraception eliminated must become secondary to the urgent need to slow, halt, and eventually reverse U.S. and world population growth,” NPG continued in its report, Resurgent Pro-Natalism in the Trump Administration.”

Here’s more from the report:

The report also praises Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards for drawing the connection between limiting population growth and environmentalism when she called long-lasting IUDs, which can block fertilization but can also act as an abortifacient by preventing a fertilized egg from attaching to the uterus, the “greenest form of birth control.”

“There are only negative long-term impacts of an increased TFR—and resulting population growth—on our nation’s environment, economy, natural resources, and quality of life,” it says.

NPG President Donald Mann linked taxpayer funding of abortion overseas and Planned Parenthood, as well as subsidized abortion and contraception coverage, to immigration in a statement accompanying the report. He said any effort to divert money from abortion providers would “ultimately be devastating to our nation” by increasing immigration.

While a number of population control and environmentalist groups support the abortion chain, this new connection will not be welcome news to Planned Parenthood’s publicity team. The Southern Poverty Law Center, a liberal organization that often condemns pro-life and other conservative groups, has labeled the NPG a “key player” in advancing “white supremacy” in the environmentalist movement, according to the report.

Planned Parenthood markets itself as a friend to minorities and an opponent of racism, but the abortion chain was founded by a eugenicist and research indicates that it does target minorities for abortions.Planned Parenthood receives close to half a billion taxpayer dollars annually to support its deadly work. It is the largest abortion business in the United States, killing more than 300,000 unborn babies every year.

Earlier this year, Planned Parenthood leaders refused an offer to receive an increase in taxpayer funding if they stopped doing abortions. CEO Cecile Richards called the offer “obscene and insulting,” making it very clear that abortions – not women’s health care – are what really are important to their group.
