Some Democrats in Conservative Areas are Hiding Their Pro-Abortion Views

Maybe “abortion access” is not the vote-getter the abortion industry and its allies would have you believe.

In researching candidates for the Pennsylvania General Assembly, I have noticed something curious. A number of Democrat candidates do not list their position on abortion on their websites.

Granted, there are some who proudly display the Planned Parenthood logo under “Endorsements.” But it is striking to me how many do not.

Pennsylvania is a decidedly purple state. While Philadelphia and Pittsburgh run as blue as can be, other parts of the Commonwealth are ruby red. For residents of these areas, expansion of abortion is not a winning issue.

It is true that Democrat Governor Josh Shapiro touts abortion every chance he gets. He is the most pro-abortion Governor in Commonwealth history. Shapiro even went so far as to take money away from a program that existed to help pregnant women during difficult times!

But a number of his fellow Democrat office-seekers are not so open about their pro-abortion pedigree. They do not advertise their position on the right to life.

Pennsylvanians are in for the fight of their lives this November election.

203 seats in the House of Representatives are up for a vote, along with half the Pennsylvania state Senate. We must do all we can to protect pro-life seats and work to switch those that aren’t.

So many precious lives hang in the balance!
