New documents uncovered by America First Legal suggest the Biden administration considers middle-age pro-life mothers to be potential domestic terrorists because they oppose killing unborn babies in abortions.
The documents from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security include information about a proposed “Choose Your Own Adventure” training program that portrays a “middle-aged pro-life” mother as a “radicalization suspect” who should be watched out for.
Reed D. Rubinstein, senior counselor at America First Legal, which obtained the documents through a Freedom of Information Act request, described the contents as “alarming.”
He said it appears the security department is not just investigating suspicious unattended suitcases at the airport anymore; now, it’s being used to attack people whose political views are different from the current presidential administration’s.
“The Department of Homeland Security’s transformation into a domestic intelligence organization and a Stasi-like Deep State internal security apparatus is alarming,” Rubinstein said. The department is “profiling patriotic and politically conservative Americans as abusive parents and domestic terrorists because they oppose abortion on demand and voted for former President Trump. The agency is out of control.”
A document from the Office of Terrorism and Violence Prevention outlines a proposed training program with “Choose Your Own Adventure”-type scenarios in which users identify “the potential radicalization of others” in “real-life” situations. The document is dated Jan. 29, 2021, a week after President Joe Biden took office.
One scenario involves a middle-aged pro-life mother named Ann, who the Biden administration describes as a “radicalization suspect.”

“This is Ann, a resident of Elkville in rural America,” the program outline states. “Ann has always been religious but since the death of her mother, she’s become increasingly devout. She’s a regular in the small-town community, active in several church groups. While she has always been protective of her four kids, she has become increasingly more concerned about the welfare of other children including the unborn.”
The program outline says participants choose from three “bystander roles” that take them through “difficult choices that approximate real-life decisions at the end of each scene.” For the “Ann” scenario, users could choose to be a bakery employee, a hairdresser or a preacher, according to the document.

“You’re the preacher at Elkville’s only church,” the preacher’s scenario reads. “You notice that one of your members, Ann, has become increasingly more fervent about her pro-life stance. You see her and another parishioner in a heated discussion during a prayer group. Ann asks you directly if the bible justifies violence in defense of life.”
The preacher’s “bystander” choices include scheduling counseling with Ann on church teachings and violence prevention, speaking to her husband about whether he’s noticed a behavior change and reaching out to a church group member to ask her about her recent interests. …
The section includes two more scenarios: A bakery employee hearing her scream, “Baby killer,” and her telling her hairdresser that “something should be done to put a stop to the planned parenthood office in the next county,” according to the documents.
The new documents add further evidence to concerns about the Biden administration abusing its power to attack political opponents. In another alarming series of events last year, the FBI raided the homes of several pro-life advocates, including Pennsylvania father Mark Houck who had agreed to cooperate with authorities in their investigation. A jury later cleared Houck of all charges.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration appears to be ignoring the massive wave of attacks on pro-life organizations in the past year, including firebombings, vandalism, cyber-attacks and other terrorism.
U.S Attorney General Merrick Garland also is accused of failing to protect conservative U.S. Supreme Court justices in the wake of the Dobbs v. Jackson leak by discouraged U.S. Marshals from enforcing an anti-intimidation law that prohibits protests outside judges’ homes.
In documents exposed by a whistleblower, the Department of Justice discouraged the marshals from arresting pro-abortion protesters outside the justices’ homes, saying it would be “counterproductive” to make arrests on cases that the department “will not charge and prosecute.”
The Biden administration did not enforce the law even after an assassination attempt on Justice Brett Kavanaugh in June. Police arrested a California man with a gun and other weapons outside Kavanaugh’s home prior to the Dobbs ruling. Police said 26-year-old Nicholas John Roske planned to kill the justice and potentially two others to stop the court from overturning Roe v. Wade.
