Kamala Harris deceived Americans again Monday when she claimed that aborting an unborn baby is about the “right to live and love.”
The Democrat leader supports the killing of unborn babies for basically any reason up to birth and wants to force taxpayers to fund their deaths. Recently, she has been criticizing the work of pro-life advocates to protect unborn babies from abortion, especially as the U.S. Supreme Court appears likely to overturn Roe v. Wade this summer.
In a post Monday on Twitter, Harris said overturning Roe would restrict women’s ability to “live and love.”
“Overturning Roe v. Wade opens the door to restricting the fundamental right to self-determination to live and love,” she wrote. “This is about our future. About whether we live in a country where the government can interfere in personal decisions.”

Abortions destroy unborn babies’ ability to live and love and often wounds mothers and fathers. More than 63 million babies have been aborted in the past 50 years in America.
Now, it appears the Supreme Court likely will overturn Roe this summer after a leaked draft shows the justices ruling against the 1973 decision in the Mississippi case Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health. If that happens, states will be allowed to protect unborn babies again, and experts predict as many as 26 will do so. This would result in hundreds of thousands of unborn babies being saved from abortions every year.
Commenters pointed this out to Harris in response to her tweet.
“Nothing justifies depriving a human being of life developing in the womb from fertilization. There is no legal or scientific justification. The argument in favor of abortion is sophistry and electoral politics,” one wrote.
“My wife & I almost aborted our 2 kids. Forty + yrs. later, 2 wonderful sons & thank God we DID NOT! You have no idea what kind of life God has prepared for you,” another added.
“Interesting that you would say this is about our future while supporting something that reduces the ability to have a future by more than 1 million humans per year,” another person commented.
But Harris opposes legal protections for unborn babies. Earlier this month, she lashed out at pro-life American at an event for the pro-abortion group Emily’s List.
“How dare they,” Harris said in response to the leak. “How dare they tell a woman what she can do with her own body. How dare they try to stop her from determining her own future. How dare they try to deny women their rights and their freedoms.”
Harris’s position on abortion is radical and out of touch with most Americans. A former U.S. senator, she co-sponsored a bill that would have forced states to legalize the killing of unborn babies in abortions for basically any reason up to birth, even if Roe v. Wade is overturned, and forced taxpayers to pay for them.
The Supreme Court has the opportunity to overturn Roe through the Mississippi abortion case Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health. The leaked draft opinion shows a majority of the justices voting to overturn Roe; however, the document is only a draft, and judges can change their minds.
A ruling is expected sometime in June.
