New Abortion Fund Will Pay for Free Abortions to Kill More Babies

In the past 48 years, approximately 62.5 million unborn babies have been killed in abortions across America.

Abortions are tragically common. They are the number one killer of human life in America. They are not health care or a necessity.

Yet, abortion activists frequently try to drum up support for their cause by claiming women need abortions and they face too many obstacles to access them.

A new organization in New Hampshire is based on this false claim, and it already has raised money to “help” by paying for unborn babies to be aborted.

The state NPR affiliate NHPR reported about the start-up of the Reproductive Freedom Fund of New Hampshire this month. Its goal is to provide money to women who may not be able to afford an abortion on their own.

An abortion costs between $500 and $1,000, and the pro-abortion group has about $25,000 raised so far, according to the report.

Steph George, who co-founded the pro-abortion group, said the cost is “one of the biggest and common barriers” to abortion.

“… in the scope of reproductive justice, which is about bodily autonomy as a whole, abortion is a really critical piece that has become so politicized,” George said.

Finances are a major concern for women facing unplanned pregnancies, but abortion is not the answer.

Every pregnancy involves two unique, valuable human being’s lives, and both deserve support. Women do not need to abort their own children to be healthy or successful. Abortion advocacy groups like the new organization in New Hampshire purport to help women in need, but they really are only helping the profit-driven abortion industry.

Meanwhile, pregnancy resource centers, maternity homes, adoption agencies and other pro-life organizations are providing real assistance – and for free – to help mothers and babies in need.

Across the United States, approximately 2,700 pro-life pregnancy centers provide vital support to pregnant and parenting families every year. According to the Charlotte Lozier Institute, these centers served almost 2 million people in 2019, providing more than 730,000 pregnancy tests, nearly half a million ultrasounds, 1.3 million packs of diapers and more than 2 million baby outfits.

These and other pro-life organizations recognize that the root of the problem is not the baby, it’s finances; and when women have access to the resources they need, they feel empowered to choose life for their unborn babies.
