National Right to Life has endorsed pro-life Auditor Matt Rosendale in Montana’s U.S. Senate election following his primary win on Tuesday night. Rosendale will challenge pro-abortion Sen. Jon Tester in November.

“National Right to Life is pleased to endorse Matt Rosendale, whose position on life reflects the true values of Montana’s voters,” said Carol Tobias, National Right to Life president. “There is a stark contrast between Matt Rosendale, who supports legal protection for unborn children, and Jon Tester, who supports abortion for any reason until birth.”

Matt Rosendale supports the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act – legislation to protect unborn children by prohibiting abortion at 20 weeks, a point by which the unborn child is capable of experiencing great pain when being killed by dismemberment or other late abortion methods.

Rosendale is challenging Sen. Jon Tester (D), who is supported by the extreme pro-abortion group NARAL Pro-Choice America. Jon Tester has voted against the pro-life position on abortion every chance he had. He voted against the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which prohibits abortion after 20 weeks when the unborn baby can feel pain. Jon Tester supports using tax dollars to pay for abortion. Jon Tester supports giving hundreds of millions of dollars of government funds to the nation’s largest abortion provider. Jon Tester even cosponsored S. 510, legislation that would invalidate nearly every state and federal limits on abortion.

Matt Rosendale’s pro-life position contrasts greatly with Tester’s. Matt Rosendale opposes abortion on demand, and he opposes using tax dollars to pay for abortion.
