Bristol Palin has a message for the pro-abortion haters who suggested she have an abortion after she announced last week that she is pregnancy with her second child.

Palin, the daughter of pro-life former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, has announced she’s pregnant with her second baby. No sooner did the pro-life advocate make the announcement than pro-abortion haters called on her to have an abortion.

The pro-abortion web site Gawker heaped its hate on Bristol Palin with a article that was headlined: “Bristol Palin Makes Great Argument for Abortion in Baby Announcement.”

Bristol responded on her blog, saying: “I’ve always been pro-life and I am standing for life now… deal with it.” She also posted an image of the ultrasound of the new baby.

So here are the things you should all get straight before you continue to mock me, judge me, and talk about me.

Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family.  Believing I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself. Things didn’t go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on.

But I do not regret this baby. This baby is not a disappointment, and I cannot wait to be a mom times two. Tripp is going to make the best big brother!!

When I realized I was pregnant, I knew I would be completely crucified. But I never even thought of aborting this child, NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCE. (Sorry to the ghouls at Gawker, who said this baby is an argument FOR abortion. Not happening.)

I am pregnant. This is not the ideal situation, but life is important even if it’s not in the most absolute ideal circumstance. This is more confirmation on what I’ve always stood for. I’ve always been pro-life and I am standing for life now.

Deal with it.

Palin revealed that she was expecting in a post on her blog.

“I wanted you guys to be the first to know that I am pregnant,” she wrote. “Honestly, I’ve been trying my hardest to keep my chin up on this one. I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends and to many of you.”

“Life moves on no matter what,” she said. “So no matter how you feel, you get up, get dressed, show up and never give up.”

“When life gets tough, there is no other option but to get tougher,” she added. “I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy.”

Kristan Hawkins of Students for Life of America encouraged Bristol to hold her head up high.

“Reading Bristol Palin’s pregnancy announcement was difficult. Like so many women who face an unplanned pregnancy, she knows she has disappointed herself and her family in her decision not to remain chaste yet she knows the precious, tiny human being growing inside of her doesn’t deserve to be killed to simply spare her of the embarrassment she will face,” she said. “You know what? She is an incredible, real and honest example of a woman facing an unplanned pregnancy. She’s not hiding her feelings, however difficult and uncomfortable they may be for her.”

“And she is choosing life. And that should be applauded,” she concluded.
