While the state of Wyoming continues fighting in court to ban abortions, state lawmakers are still fighting to protect as many babies from abortion as they can.
One way they’re helping women and unborn children is by overriding the governor and approving a bill requiring ultrasounds before the abortion pill can be used. This can show the humanity of the baby to a woman considering abortion as well as potentially save her life and health because the abortion pill could kill her if she has an ectopic pregnancy.
Following the House’s lead, the Wyoming Senate voted to override Gov. Mark Gordon’s veto of a bill that requires an ultrasound to be done 48 hours before the abortion can be done.
The bill will go into effect immediately.

Gordon vetoed House Bill 64, “Chemical abortions-ultrasound requirement,” Monday night, saying he didn’t want to require ultrasounds in cases of rape or incest – even though the baby is still a baby and the abortion risks are still present.
The House voted 45-16 Tuesday to override Gordon’s veto before the Senate did so Wednesday in a 22-9 vote.

Wyoming lawmakers just OBLITERATED Republican Gov. Mark Gordon’s cruel veto of a pro-woman, pro-life bill requiring ultrasounds before Chemical Abortions (Senate: 22-9; House: 45-16-1). Gordon trotted out the tired old “rape argument,” claiming ultrasounds are too “intimate” and “traumatic.”
, you know what’s actually traumatic? A Chemical Abortion that leaves women alone, bleeding, and in pain—sometimes facing life-threatening complications like ectopic pregnancy. But sure, let’s pretend skipping an ultrasound is “compassion.” The abortion lobby HATES ultrasounds because when women see the truth and hear their babies’ heartbeat, they are more likely to choose LIFE. And it seems Pro-Abortion Republican Governor Mark Gordon ONCE AGAIN is taking a page right out of the abortion lobby’s book. The good news, Wyoming lawmakers just sent a message loud and clear: Women deserve the truth, and babies deserve a chance.
An abortion biz in the state recently stopped killing babies in abortions.
