Columnist Ann Coulter has long had a reputation as a fearless conservative firebrand.
Which is why it’s so surprising to see her continue to attack pro-lifers. After pro-lifers lost in Ohio, Coulter responded by saying: “PRO-LIFERS ARE GOING TO WIPE OUT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.”
But now she’s attacking pro-lifers because a Texas pro-life law wouldn’t allow a mother to abort her child with Trisomy 18. She tweeted: “The prolife movement has gone from compassion for the child to cruelty to the mother (and child). Trisomy 18 is not a condition that is compatible with life.”
But former Senator and pro-life stalwart Rick Santorum pushed back at Coulter.

Meet my incompatible w life daughter Bella. Her docs put her on hospice at 10 days old. Other countries have much higher survival rates than US because they treat the baby not the diagnosis. Every kid deserves a shot at life, not be brutally dismembered for not being perfect. pic.twitter.com/QKVAREEyVY
