On the eve of its 9th anniversary, Sidewalk Advocates for Life (SAFL) – the nation’s largest pro-life sidewalk outreach organization – has reached the remarkable milestone of helping save more than 20,000 lives from abortion

In its nine years, Sidewalk Advocates for Life has trained tens of thousands of individuals to go out to the sidewalk outside their local abortion facility, and offer real help and hope to the women and families they encounter there. These stalwart volunteers share the results of their outreach with SAFL’s national team, who record the number of lives saved thanks to the volunteers’ efforts and God’s grace.

Today, that tally has reached exactly 20,050 moms served and babies saved.

“I still remember the first baby I held whose life was saved from abortion thanks to God’s grace – and the presence of a Sidewalk Advocate outside an abortion facility,” says Lauren Muzyka, SAFL
founder, President, & CEO.

“Over the years, I have been privileged to hold many babies whose mothers chose life thanks to loving, prayerful Sidewalk Advocates who offered the support and local resources those women
needed. And I have heard from countless moms how thankful they are that there was a Sidewalk Advocate there for them that day.”

“With God, all things are possible – so this amazing milestone isn’t exactly a surprise. But what a gift to realize that more than 20,000 children are alive and thriving today because we showed up
on the sidewalk and reached out to pregnant moms in crisis.”

Sidewalk Advocates for Life is the nation’s largest sidewalk outreach training program. SAFL’s mission is to train, equip, and support communities across the United States and the world in
sidewalk advocacy: to be the hands and feet of Christ, offering loving, life-affirming alternatives to all present at abortion facilities, thereby eliminating demand and ending abortion. SAFL’s
research-based approach is peaceful, prayerful, and law-abiding. Trained Sidewalk Advocates provide crisis intervention to women in unplanned pregnancies at more than 230 locations by
connecting women to the help available to them in their own communities. For more, visit sidewalkadvocates.org.
