Joe Biden today released a statement celebrating the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision that has resulted in killing 64 million babies abortions. The decision, handed down on January 22, 1973, overturned pro-life laws offering protection for unborn children in most states across the country, and made abortions legal and virtually unlimited.
This January marked the 50th year since the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on Roe and forced states to legalize the killing of unborn babies in abortions. In June, however, the high court reversed its infamous decision and began allowing states to protect unborn babies’ lives again.
Biden issued a pro-abortion proclamation to commemorate the anniversary of the now-obsolete Roe V. Wade decision.
“I call upon Americans to honor generations of advocates who have fought for reproductive freedom, to recognize the countless women whose lives and futures have been saved and shaped by the Roe v. Wade decision, and to march forward with purpose as we work together to restore the right to choose,” Biden said in his proclamation.
Bien claimed the Supreme Court “got Roe right 50 years ago.”
Biden rebuked the “conservative majority”that overturned the infamous decision and complained about “extreme bans” protecting babies from abortions.

While Biden celebrated abortion, over 100,000 pro-life Americans participated in the March for Life.
Reflecting on this year’s historic march, Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life, said the pro-life movement has huge new opportunities to protect innocent human lives through education and legislation.
“As tens of thousands march today to remember Roe and the loss of life since 1973, we praise the work of pro-life people who give of their time, energy and finances to help women facing an unexpected pregnancy. Those efforts have saved millions of lives and, post-Dobbs, will save millions more,” Tobias said.
Research by her organization puts the number of unborn babies lost to abortion under Roe at 64.4 million.
House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, who survived being shot several years ago by a radical leftist, celebrated with the crowd, noting how his home state of Louisiana and many others are now protecting unborn babies from abortion.
“Boy, did we get a huge victory just a few months ago when Roe was overturned, but as you all know, that’s only the end of the first phase of this battle,” Scalise said.
Although abortion totals per year have gone down since their highs in the years after Roe, almost 900,000 babies are killed in abortions every year and those totals have increased slightly in the last two years because of the COVID pandemic and massive uncertainty in the world, according to NRLC’s projections.
The most accurate abortions figures for the United States come from a pro-abortion group that was formerly a part of Planned Parenthood because those figures come straight from abortion centers that kill babies. The CDC also collects annual abortion figures and their totals are reflected but their annual data is incomplete because California and a couple other states are not included.
Regardless of what happens in the future, the ultimate figure of 64,443,118 babies killed in abortions is greater than the populations of a couple dozen states and larger than many of the biggest countries in the world. It’s one of the greatest travesties in the history of humanity.
