The last abortion business in Mississippi has closed and the state is abortion-free.

As LifeNews reported, Mississippi was one of 10 states to ban abortions following the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Thanks to a state judge who denied a request from Mississippi’s last remaining abortion business to stay open, the new ban protecting babies has taken effect.

As a result, the infamous Jackson Women’s Health Organization abortion company has closed. The abortion biz officially left last year and the building now houses a consignment shop, that will sell clothes instead of selling abortions.

It’s been six months since the Pink House, formerly the state’s only abortion clinic, closed it’s doors.

Many have questioned what would happen to the building. Well, that question is finally being answered.

Luxury consignment store, Hunt The Shop will be relocating from their location on Old Canton Road to the former clinic.

Tuesday afternoon, a construction crew could be seen gutting the building and working on the interior.

Store owner, David Carpenter, says they are hoping to move into the new location by March 1.

Owner Diane Derzis says she plans to reopen the abortion business under the name “The Pink House West” in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where abortions are legal up to birth.

She is also running a new abortion business in Bristol, Virginia — where she lied to the landlord to secure a lease for the abortion biz by claiming it was a general medical facility.
