Joe Biden Turning Post Office Into Abortion Biz Just Makes Dangerous Back Alley Abortions Legal

For decades, pro-abortion advocates have relied on inaccurate data to paint a scary picture of dangerous back-alley abortions in a post-Roe America. But the reality today is much different. Today, there is a new kind of back-alley, and the Biden Administration is delivering it.

Biden’s Department of Justice recently cleared the United States Postal Service to transport abortion pills to pro-life states in the mail. This decision is clearly intended to circumvent state abortion bans and place more money into the hands of the abortion cartel.

But if the DOJ goes unchallenged, women and their preborn babies will undergo tremendous suffering.

Pill abortions typically involve two drugs: mifepristone (RU 486) and misoprostol. The first pill, mifepristone, blocks progesterone to slowly starve and suffocate the preborn baby to death. Once the baby has succumbed to the drug, the second pill, misoprostol, is used. This chemical causes cramping and bleeding to expel the dead baby.

These drugs cruelly kill tiny preborn humans, and studies show that they also cause harm to women. Abortion pills are often self-administered without medical supervision. Women not only experience heavy hemorrhaging and cramping but do so without the benefits of physician intervention. And these dangers to women are ignored by the pro-abortion movement.

According to a study evaluating the FDA’s AER (Adverse Effect Report) on mifepristone, the pill causes significant morbidity and mortality among women. The study found that most of the suffering women undergo after taking the abortion pill is caused by retaining parts of the dead baby and heavy hemorrhaging. Causes of death for women after self-administering the drug included sepsis, drug toxicity/overdose, ruptured ectopic pregnancy, hemorrhage, and even suicide. The study also concluded that the FDA’s AER significantly underestimates the adverse effects of mifepristone on women.

If the Department of Justice continues to allow the U.S. Postal Service to transport this dangerous chemical, women across the nation will suffer alone in their bathrooms and more preborn babies will die. The dangerous back-alley abortions we were all warned about are not coming from abortion bans. They are coming from the Biden Administration, and they are in the mail.
