Legendary singer Stevie Nicks praised Lizzo this week for using her fame to promote the killing of unborn babies in abortions, calling the pop singer a “great woman of our time.”

The Neighbor reports Nicks, of the band Fleetwood Mac, described Lizzo’s activism as “beautiful” and “stunning” after she brought an abortion activist and others on stage with her during the 2022 People’s Choice Awards earlier this week.

“Dearest Lizzo, In my opinion your presentation last night on the People’s Choice Awards was not only so beautiful and so needed that you get the award for being a great woman of our time,” Nicks wrote on Twitter. “I was so impressed and so touched that you put that together and pulled it off. It was stunning and everyone heard you.”

She said Lizzo’s actions encouraged “all women” to pursue their dreams, whether as a musician or future politician.

“Your name is in the stars now,” she concluded. “Much love, Stevie Nicks.”

Lizzo brought more than a dozen activists from various causes on stage with her when she received the People’s Champion award for her activism on abortion and other issues. Among them was Shout Your Abortion” co-founder Amelia Bonow, whose group seeks to “normalize” the killing of unborn babies in abortions through women telling their abortion stories. Bonow even promotes abortions to children.

On stage, Lizzo praised the pro-abortion activist for working “to normalize abortion, increase awareness of abortion pills and motivate people to support abortion access in their communities.” While she was speaking, Bonow held a sign that read, “Abortion Pills Forever.”

“To be an icon is not about how long you’ve had your platform. Being an icon is what you do with that platform,” Lizzo told the audience. “And ever since the beginning of my career, I’ve used my platform to amplify marginalized voices.”

However, she ignores the most marginalized group of all: babies in the womb who are killed in massive numbers every year. Since 1973, more than 63 million unborn babies have been aborted in the U.S.

Nicks, Lizzo and many other celebrities have been involved in abortion activism for years. Nicks even credits the success of her band, Fleetwood Mac, to her decision in 1979 to abort one of her children.

Despite what many celebrities claim, abortions do not empower women. Quite the opposite, the pro-abortion culture demeans women by telling them that they need to kill their own children before birth to have the same opportunities and freedoms as men. Abortions intentionally and unnecessarily kill hundreds of thousands of unborn babies in the U.S. every year and harm countless mothers and fathers, grandparents and siblings. Celebrities could do so much good with their wealth and influence to help families. Instead, they promote the death and destruction of innocent children by abortion.
