Hundreds of people were a living witness to the compassion that pro-life advocates offer to families daily during a prayer gathering Saturday outside an abortion facility in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The Christian pro-life organization Love Life Inc. organized the prayer walk outside A Woman’s Choice to help hurting mothers and pray for unborn babies to be saved from abortion, according to FOX 8.
“Love Life’s mission is to activate the local church in our city to continue helping hurting moms and families and give them real options and loving choices,” the organization said in a statement. “With the help of our partnering churches and ministries, Love Life has provided housing, jobs, baby showers, mentoring and additional resources to many of the 4,300-plus families that have chosen life on the sidewalks over the last six years.”
One of its goals is to provide hope and help to pregnant mothers who feel pressured to abort their unborn babies. Numerous studies and even some abortion workers acknowledge that women frequently are coerced into abortions.
“We know 60-70 percent of moms are pressured into abortion and are looking for a way out. When moms and dads hear of all the resources available to them in the Triangle, they want to choose life for the unborn babies,” organization leaders said.
Many pro-lifers who participate in the prayer walks also are foster or adoptive parents or support families who care for these vulnerable children through its Orphan Care Ministry, which began in 2017, the organization said.

Through these and other efforts, Love Life leaders said they believe they are creating a culture of life in North Carolina.
“As the Church unites and mobilizes in and around Raleigh, we will continue to see the culture shift from death to life as more families run to the Church and stop running to the abortion centers,” they said.
The prayer walk on Saturday caught the attention of a couple abortion activists who filmed the event and uploaded the video to TikTok; the video went viral, according to the report.
Deborah Bridger criticized the peaceful crowd, telling the local news, “They were all walking to the clinic to stand in front of a clinic where so many people were going to show up to seek healthcare that day, and it was just infuriating.”
Leaders with Love Life said they always follow the law and obtain the proper permits to conduct their walks.
However, according to the local news, Raleigh city leaders are considering a buffer zone ordinance that would restrict their pro-life efforts in the future.
North Carolina allows unborn babies to be aborted for any reason up to 20 weeks. Pro-life Republicans have controlled the state legislature for the past several years, but Gov. Roy Cooper, a pro-abortion Democrat, has vetoed pro-life bills.
Next year, pro-life advocates have stronger hopes of passing life-saving legislation after voters elected a veto-proof Republican super-majority to the state Senate and a “functional super-majority” to the state House, according to The Carolina Journal.
In a recent statement, state House Speaker Tim Moore, R-Cleveland, told voters to “expect pro-life protections to be a top priority of the legislature when we return to our normal legislative session in January.”
