John Fetterman Would be Another Vote for Abortions Up to Birth

When it comes to the issue of abortion, some politicians are pushing a false and dangerous narrative, claiming that all they want is a return to the Roe v. Wade framework. This falls under the misleading label of “codifying Roe.”

This storyline is an attempt to appeal to those voters who were under the false impression that Roe was settled law and that its demise endangers women.

But the fact of the matter is that candidates such as Pennsylvania Democrat John Fetterman—a contender for the U.S. Senate–want to go far beyond Roe and give the go-ahead to unlimited abortions paid for by your tax dollars. But how many citizens realize that?

Legislation backed by Fetterman and other pro-abortion politicians would wipe out common sense protections such as informed consent, parental consent, 24-hour waiting periods for abortion, and bans on late-term abortion. The so-called “Women’s Health Protection Act” is a Trojan horse of a bill, doing nothing to protect women’s health while greenlighting abortion without limits.

National poll after national poll shows that most Americans oppose most abortions. That is a philosophy which candidates such as Fetterman diametrically oppose. As a result, these abortion-at-any-cost politicians are out of step with the American public which requires misleading rhetoric about “codifying Roe.”

On June 24, the U.S. Supreme Court tossed Roe v. Wade into the dustbin of history, where it should stay. Candidates do a massive disservice to voters when they claim they want to resurrect Roe for the “good of women and their families.”

The fact of the matter is simple:  Roe was a deeply flawed decision which deserved to be overturned which the Supreme Court did in Dobbs. Advocates for life are committed to the idea that we will not go back and that, moving forward, we will defend women from dangerous pro-abortion policies.

We are on the right side of history, and our epic struggle to safeguard the rights of preborn children will ultimately end in victory.
