Joe Biden’s administration awarded almost $17 million in taxpayer-funded grants this year to the billion-dollar abortion chain Planned Parenthood.

According to Live Action News, the nation’s largest abortion company received the money through the Title X family planning program under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Another $25.5 million from the program went to other pro-abortion groups, the news outlet discovered.

Title X funds are not supposed to be used for abortions. The program provides family planning services to low-income individuals, and the law states that Title X grants may not be used “where abortion is a method of family planning.”

However, Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion business in the U.S., has been one of the biggest recipients of Title X for years. In 2019, the Trump administration issued a rule ensuring that funding would not be used to support abortions, and Planned Parenthood dropped out of the program.

In 2021, however, the Biden administration reversed the action with a rule that requires Title X recipients to refer for abortions and ended the requirement that abortion facilities separate their abortion practices from their Title X services. Now, 12 states are suing to challenge the pro-abortion rule.

In the mean time, pro-abortion groups are receiving tax dollars through the program again. According to Live Action, Planned Parenthood facilities in 13 states received a total of $17 million: Alaska, Connecticut, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, Utah and Virginia.

Another pro-abortion group, Essential Access Health, received $15.3 million for its work in California and Hawaii, the report found. Essential Access Health is one of the groups working to implement a new California law that forces every public college and university to provide abortions on campus.

Other abortion groups that received Title X tax dollars this year include the Family Planning Association of Maine with $1.9 million and the New Jersey Family Planning League with $8.5 million, according to the report.

Although the money does not directly pay for the killing of unborn babies in abortions, it subsidizes these groups’ deadly abortion practices.

“You can’t ‘follow the money’ when all the money is dumped into one pot and mixed together,” said Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, who is leading the lawsuit against the Biden administration, in a statement last year. “Federal law prohibits taxpayer funding of abortion — and that law means nothing if the federal money isn’t kept separate. That, frankly, is the real reason behind the rule.”

Planned Parenthood receives hundreds of millions of tax dollars every year through Title X and Medicaid. It is a billion-dollar abortion chain that aborts more unborn babies than any other group in the U.S. Its most recent annual report shows more than 383,000 abortions, or an average 1,050 babies aborted every day. That is a record high. Meanwhile, the same report showed that many of Planned Parenthood’s actual health services continue to decline.

Its patient numbers also have been dropping steadily over the past decade amid numerous reports of alleged unethical and illegal activities, including selling aborted baby body partsbotching abortions that killed womencovering up the sexual abuse of minorsdiscriminating against pregnant and racial minority employees, exploiting young girls by selling cross-sex hormones and more.

The abortion group plans to spend a record $50 million on the midterm elections this fall in an attempt to get its radical pro-abortion agenda through Congress.
