Barack Obama: Vote for Democrats So We Can Kill More Babies in Abortions

Former President Barack Obama is campaigning for pro-abortion Democrats in Pennsylvania as Republicans gain more ground in the polls.

This week, Obama appeared in a new 15-second ad from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee urging voters in the key swing state to support pro-abortion Democrats in November. He also plans to visit the state next week, according to Axios.

“In Pennsylvania, you’ve got some important choices to make this year,” Obama says, adding that “the fate of our democracy and a woman’s right to choose are on the line.”

By “right to choose,” Obama means the ability to abort an unborn baby for basically any reason up to birth anywhere in the U.S. — something Democrat leaders have promised to make happen if they win a few more seats in Congress this fall. Their “codify Roe” bill, nicknamed the Abortion Without Limits Up to Birth Act, would force states to legalize abortion on demand and force taxpayers to pay for them. Additionally, the bill would get rid of parental consent laws and could force doctors and nurses to help abort unborn babies in violation of their beliefs.

Several Pennsylvania races, including the one between Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz and Democrat John Fetterman for an open U.S. Senate seat, could determine which party controls the U.S. House and Senate in 2023. Most predictions say Republicans will win back the House and possibly the Senate.

Polls show Fetterman with a slight lead, but Oz has been gaining support amid growing questions about the Democrat candidate’s health. Fetterman suffered a severe stroke in May. Their first and only debate Tuesday widely was considered to be disastrous for Fetterman as he stumbled over his words and took long pauses before answering debate moderators. Even major news outlets have been raising questions about his health and ability to communicate.

While President Biden won Pennsylvania in 2020, the state is far from a slam dunk in key races. Fox News Power Rankings have the Senate race between Democrat John Fetterman and Republican Mehmet Oz as a toss-up. The gubernatorial race between Democrat Josh Shapiro and Republican Doug Mastriano is currently rated as leaning Democrat.

Pennsylvania also has five House seats up for grabs, with one rated as likely Democrat, one leaning Republican, one likely Republican, and two toss-ups.

Fetterman supports abortion on demand “without any qualification whatsoever” and wants to force taxpayers to pay for them. He also said he would end the Senate filibuster to make it easier for Democrats to pass pro-abortion bills.

Currently, pro-abortion Democrats control the U.S. House and, more narrowly, the U.S. Senate. Whoever wins the majority will determine the types of abortion legislation that Congress may pass in the near future, such as a national ban on abortions after 15 weeks on the pro-life side or taxpayer-funded abortions through all nine months of pregnancy on the pro-abortion side.

Polls consistently show that Americans support limits on abortion, including parental consent and bans on taxpayer funding for elective abortions – common-sense restrictions that Democrat leaders want to eliminate.
