Catholic Archbishop: No Communion for Joe Biden, Not a “Faithful Catholic” Because He’s Pro-Abortion

A top Catholic bishop says Joe Biden should not receive communion because he is no longer in communion with the Catholic Church by virtue of his abortion advocacy,

Archbishop Charles Chaput said at an event this weekend that Joe Biden “is not in communion with the Catholic faith” and that “any priest who now provides Communion to the president participates in his hypocrisy.”

These are some of the strongest words yet directed at the pro-abortion president who so smugly supports abortion he recently told a Catholic reporter to “get educated” about Roe v. Wade. Biden has promoted abortions up to birth repeatedly since the Dobbs decision overturning Roe v. Wade and his introduced multiple policies and supported legislation to implement abortions up to birth nationwide.

As Catholic News Agency reports:

The archbishop continued: “Mr. Biden’s apostasy on the abortion issue is only the most repugnant example. He’s not alone. But in a sane world, his unique public leadership would make — or should make — public consequences unavoidable.”

“When you freely break communion with the Church of Jesus Christ and her teachings, you can’t pretend to be in communion when it’s convenient,” Chaput said.

“That’s a form of lying. Mr. Biden is not in communion with the Catholic faith. And any priest who now provides Communion to the president participates in his hypocrisy.”

Facing the prospect of his party losing the House (likely) and the Senate (to be determined), pro-abortion President Joe Biden is ratcheting up his rhetoric to offer a full-throated embrace of abortion on demand.

Over the weekend, with the midterm elections just weeks away, Biden attempted to gin up enthusiasm among fellow pro-abortionists by vowing to “codify Roe” as the first order of business in the new Congress. That is, if the Democrats hold the House and add two senators in the upcoming elections.

That means Biden is pushing the radical Women’s Health Protection Act which would legalize abortions up to birth nationwide.

And last week, Biden Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced that the Department of Defense will pay for all members of the military who want travel to kill their babies in abortions.

Following the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and actions by more than 20 states to protect babies from abortions, the Biden administration is following through on one of its many promises to promote killing more babies in abortions.
