Joe Biden’s Education Secretary Miguel Cardona today made a comment about abortion that is making people livid.
Cardona said that students need to be able to kill their babies in abortions to “thrive” in school and in life. He assumed that the only way pregnant students can enjoy any success if if they end the lives of their own children.
“Students need access to [abortions] in order to thrive in school and in life,” he said.

What a horrific thing to tell young women — that they have to kill their baby in order to be successful. That totally ignores the millions of young women who have kept their baby and completed their education.
On twitter, pro-life advocates were appalled by the comments.
“No, students need to be taught from their parents that behavior moderation and delayed gratification is the way to success and character. Not, killing babies after sleeping around,” one person said.
“Again, all the focus is on girls, but not boys. Responsibility lies with both people, not just the girl. How about teaching them to be responsible and stay out of girls’ pants?” another user asked.
“Abortion is NOT reproductive healthcare. Is it hazardous to health. These people live in political dilutions,” another respondent said.
The comment ignores the millions of women who never had to end the lives of their children to success in school or life.
For example, Montoya Major’s perseverance is an inspiration to mothers everywhere.
The 23-year-old single mom became pregnant not long after she started graduate school, according to the Today Show. Though her situation was extremely difficult – she was far away from family and studying for two different degrees, she chose life.
