Senate candidate John Fetterman confirmed that he opposes any limits on killing unborn babies in abortions, even through the ninth month of pregnancy and for sex-selection purposes.

Speaking with PCN Live recently, the Pennsylvania Democrat responded to a question about abortion limits by admitting that he does not support any. Fetterman is running for an open U.S. Senate seat against pro-life Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz. U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey, a pro-life Republican who currently holds the seat, is retiring.

“Are there any limits on abortion you would find appropriate?” a woman asked Fetterman in a video RNC Research shared on Twitter.

“I don’t believe so, no. I believe that is between a woman and her physician,” the candidate replied.

In April, Fetterman said something very similar when he described abortion as “sacred” and promised to support legislation allowing abortions “without any qualification whatsoever.”

If elected, he promised to vote for a radical pro-abortion bill nicknamed the Abortion Without Limits Up to Birth Act that would force states to legalize abortions through all nine months and force taxpayers to pay for them. The bill also would get rid of bans on sex-selection abortions and parental consent laws.

That position is radical and out of touch with most Americans. Polls consistently show a strong majority of Americans, including many Democrats, support protections for unborn babies from abortion – especially after the first trimester. Most Americans also believe parents should be involved when their underage daughter wants an abortion, and they oppose their tax dollars being used for abortions.

Oz, a pro-life Republican, believes human life begins at conception and supports laws that protect unborn babies from abortion in most cases – a position more in line with the American public.

Pennsylvania is a key swing state, and Democrats hope to gain another seat in the U.S. Senate with Fetterman. Polls show the Democrat candidate ahead, but Fetterman recently suffered a major stroke and has refused to debate Oz. Even major news outlets are beginning to raise questions about the Democrat’s health and ability to serve.

“John Fetterman is insulting Pennsylvania voters by dodging debates and avoiding their questions,” Oz responded Wednesday on Twitter. “Is Fetterman unable to debate, or is he unwilling to defend his radical views?”
