Hundreds of bikers rallied to support a grieving Louisiana family after a 2-year-old boy was found dead in a trash can in Houma earlier this month.
WGNO reports the funeral for Ezekiel Harry took place Saturday in Thibodaux, after hundreds of people, including more than 400 bikers from different states, joined a procession to mourn the toddler’s tragic death.
According to the report, police found Ezekiel’s body in a trash can July 12 in Houma. His mother and her boyfriend are facing first-degree murder charges.
“Our heart goes out to the family,” biker Allen Craft told 4WWL. “Big Condolences. We’re just coming out here to support for whatever the cause is and whatever the situation and let them know hey, we’re here to support you.”

Mike Willis, a friend of the family, said Ezekiel’s horrific death shows that society needs a major change.
“We just gotta figure out what we’re gonna do a as people,” Willis said. “Because these kinds of tragedies are going to keep occurring if we can’t figure out how to send people in the right direction.”
According to Houma Today, the local community has been mourning for Ezekiel ever since the news broke, placing balloons and toys at the site where his body was found and joining a vigil on the Courthouse Square to show their support.
