Abortion activists protested outside the home of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh again Wednesday, even though federal law prohibits such acts as intimidation.
Frontlines host Drew Hernandez covered the protest, one of many since May when a leaked draft ruling showed the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. A few days after the leak, the pro-abortion group Ruth Sent Us published the home addresses of the justices who, in the draft, agree to overturn Roe.
According to Frontlines, a small group of pro-abortion protesters marched on the sidewalk outside the justice’s home, calling him a “Christo Fascist” and a “liar.” Kavanaugh is Catholic.
A video shows police officers surrounding the home as abortion activists walked by, beating drums and chanting. One carried a flag that read, “No justice, no peace.” Others held signs that said, “Keep your religion out of my vagina” and “Liars.”

Federal law prohibits protests outside the homes of judges, witnesses, jurors and court officials; such actions are considered intimidation and interference in the judicial system.
However, Republican leaders say the Biden administration and U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland are not doing anything to stop them – not even after Kavanaugh was the target of an assassination attempt and two of the justices’ young children were targeted in posts online.
Earlier this month, an alleged assassin with a gun was arrested outside Kavanaugh’s home. The man allegedly told police that he bought a gun, drove across the country and planned to kill the justice because of his abortion stance.
According to Axios, a Department of Homeland Security report in May warned that radical abortion activists are threatening to burn down or storm the Supreme Court building and murder justices and their law clerks if the court overturns Roe. The report indicates these pro-abortion extremists also plan to target churches and other places of worship.
The FBI announced an investigation into the pro-abortion violence last week, and Republican leaders are urging the Department of Justice to do the same.
Dozens of churches, pro-life organizations and individuals have been targets of arson, vandalism, assault, threats and harassment since the leak, and the U.S. Marshals have been providing extra security to the justices.
LifeNews has kept track of the growing hostility, listing more than 60 incidents since the leak. Find the list here.
Since Roe in 1973, more than 63 million unborn babies and hundreds of mothers have died in supposedly “safe,” legal abortions. If the court overturns the infamous abortion ruling, states would be allowed to protect unborn babies from abortion again, and the Guttmacher Institute predicts as many as 26 will do so.
The Supreme Court is expected to release its final ruling on the Mississippi abortion case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health, any day now.
