Another Planned Parenthood abortion business has closed, this time in Boise, Idaho.

Last month, America’s biggest abortion company announced plans to close five facilities in Vermont and New Hampshire on June 12, citing staffing problems and politics. Following that announcement, Planned Parenthood indicated it would close five abortion centers in Indiana, Idaho and Alaska.

The stunning news that Idaho Planned Parenthood has shut the doors on its flagship abortion center on State Street in Idaho’s largest city confirms it is one of the five abortion centers it intended to close.

As one news report indicates:

The Boise Planned Parenthood, which was located at 3668 N. Harbor Lane off of State Street, closed June 1. The property was listed for sale through Keller Williams Commercial for $999,000. A sign on the former clinic’s door directs patients to Meridian or Twin Falls.

Katie Rodihan, spokesperson for Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawaii, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky, said it was one of five clinic closures in the region following “a comprehensive review of all of our health centers and patient needs across all six of our states.” Rodihan said the review was prompted by the U.S. Supreme Court’s “likely overturning of Roe v. Wade,” the landmark case that outlined abortion rights.

The pro-life group Idaho Chooses Life told LifeNews.com that it was delighted by the news.

“This was the largest facility Planned Parenthood operated in Idaho, and the only one where they performed surgical abortions,” it said. “Signs on the shuttered facility direct potential customers to contact their remaining offices in Twin Falls and Meridian.”

Idaho Choose Life indicates that the Boise Planned Parenthood killed thousands of babies over the last 15 years.

“The State Street facility has been in operation for well over 15 years.  Thousands of babies have been slaughtered within its walls,” ICL said and it thanked God for the results.

“We praise God for this shrinkage in Planned Parenthood’s Idaho presence.  Clearly the Lord is moving and the Abortion Industry is on the defense as we await the overturning of Roe and implementation of our Trigger Law later this summer. But we must acknowledge the diligence and faithfulness of area pro-Lifers in bringing this dramatic victory to pass,” ICL continued. “For many years, faithful Christians have been praying in front of that facility – begging the Lord to stop the killing within its walls.  We have participated in those prayer vigils, led by 40 Days for Life and Respect Life groups from various Catholic parishes in the Treasure Valley.  Those prayers have wrought a beautiful fruit.”

That trigger law could go into effect once the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade and ban abortions in the state — prompting the closing of all abortion facilities statewide.

Although the Planned Parenthood is no longer open in Boise that doesn’t mean pregnant women have no resources or support.

“Stanton Healthcare is also due specific credit.  About ten years ago, they opened a life-affirming clinic right next door to Planned Parenthood’s killing factory – giving women and girls a last chance to change their minds about ending the life of their preborn child,” ICL noted.

The closings are good news for women and unborn children as all Planned Parenthood centers either kill babies in abortions, sell the dangerous abortion pill that has killed and injured women, or make abortion referrals.

Planned Parenthood has aborted more than 8 million unborn babies since abortion became legal nation-wide in 1973. Its most recent annual report showed a record number of abortions in 2020: 354,871, which is about 40 percent of all abortions in the U.S.

Meanwhile, the same report showed that many of Planned Parenthood’s actual health services continue to decline. It provided less contraception, sterilizations, cancer screenings, adoption referrals and other women’s health services than the previous year, mirroring a continued downward trend.

Its patient numbers also have been dropping steadily over the past decade amid numerous reports of alleged unethical and illegal activities by Planned Parenthood, including selling aborted baby body partsbotching abortions that killed womencovering up the sexual abuse of minorsdiscriminating against pregnant and racial minority employees, exploiting young girls by selling cross-sex hormones and more.
