Twitter Censors Image of Full-Term Aborted Baby Possibly Killed in Infanticide

Very late-term abortions are taking place in the nation’s capital where five full-term aborted babies are at the center of a national controversy because they were possibly killed in illegal partial-birth abortions or infanticide. But Twitter doesn’t want anyone to see the truth.

As LifeNews has reported, members of Congress and pro-life groups are calling for the D.C. medical examiner to conduct an autopsy of the five aborted babies whose remains were recovered from a Washington Surgi-Clinic. These five aborted babies may have been killed in violation of the federal Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act or the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act.

Multiple physicians who evaluated the remains of the five aborted babies recovered from Santangelo’s clinic have speculated that there may be evidence of the abortionist committing illegal partial-birth abortions or even killing babies that were delivered alive. Cesare Santangelo, the abortionist at Washington Surgi-Clinic, has a history of “bad outcomes related to abortion” that led to his investigation by the D.C. Board of Health. He has been caught on video admitting that if a baby is born alive during an abortion, he simply lets the baby die.

In reporting the news of these babies, LifeNews posted an image of one of the abortion victims on Twitter, but posted it behind a sensitive warning — following Twitter rules for posting sensitive pictures by making sure people only see the content if they first click a warning button informing them that the picture is graphic in nature.

“This is one of five babies killed in legal late-term abortions at an abortion center in our nation’s capitol. whose body was recently discovered. This baby isn’t a clump of cells. This baby is a human being whose life was snuffed out before he was born. We MUST end abortion,” LifeNews wrote at the time.

Several days after posting the picture on Twitter, the social media giant locked our account and threatened to permanently ban it for posting a picture of one of the five full-term babies aborted in our nation’s capital, even though we followed Twitter rules by marking it sensitive.

“Hi LifeNews.com, Your account, @LifeNewsHQ has been locked for violating the Twitter Rules. Specifically for: Violating our rules against posting media depicting gratuitous gore.
You may not share excessively graphic media (e.g., severe injuries, torture). Exposure to gratuitous gore can be harmful, especially if the content is posted with intent to delight in cruelty or for sadistic pleasure,” twitter informed LifeNews.com today. “Please note that repeated violations may lead to a permanent suspension of your account. Proceed to Twitter now to fix the issue with your account.”

If aborted babies are just clumps of cells, why is Twitter so afraid of people seeing pictures of them? Ironically, in its threat to LifeNews, Twitter admitted killing babies in abortions is “torture.”

Hundreds of pro-life advocates reacted with outrage after learning of the censorship.
