Delaware Legislature Passes “Kill More Babies” Bill to Let Nurses Kill Babies in Abortions

For years and years, abortion activists told the public that aboritons should be between a woman and her doctor — as if abortion was some important medical procedure that should be sacrosanct for doctors to discuss.

The truth was always that Big Abortion just wanted to sell more abortions and not have the public or the government be involved in any capacity to protect the lives of unborn children who lose their lives.

That truth is ringing true once again, as the Delaware Assembly has approved a bill to allow nurses to kill babies in abortions, which will ultimately result in killing more babies in abortions, ergo more income for profitable abortion businesses.

Here’s more:

At a time when states are limiting abortion access, the Delaware General Assembly on Thursday passed legislation that allows more health care providers to prescribe medication to terminate pregnancies.

The bill, which now makes its way to the governor’s desk, would allow physician assistants and advanced practice registered nurses to prescribe medication used for abortions. Current state law allows only physicians to write prescriptions for these medications, which include Mifeprex, Mifepristone, and Misoprostol.

The legislation fell along party lines in both chambers. No Republican supported the bill.

Other states are approving similar bills and California is pushing one as well.

But pro-life leaders warned that the legislation would endanger more lives.

“It’s a dangerous bill,” said Kathleen Domingo, executive director of the California Catholic Conference, in a statement to the LA Times. “I think what this is really doing is undermining the safety of women in all of their health care interactions. It’s putting access before safety.”

Abortion is not primary health care – or health care at all. Abortions intentionally and unnecessarily kill unborn babies, and almost all of the nearly 1 million abortions in the U.S. each year are purely elective.

To protect women, most states require that abortions be done by licensed medical doctors. A 2013 study from the University of California San Francisco found that abortions done by non-physicians were twice as likely to have complications as those done by licensed physicians.

Despite the increased risks, Hawaii, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, Virginia and Vermont also allow nurse practitioners and midwives to abort first-trimester unborn babies.

A growing body of research indicates the drug is more dangerous for pregnant mothers than abortion activists claim. One study, published in December in the journal “Health Services Research and Managerial Epidemiology,” found a “significant” gap in reports on abortion complications from the drug mifepristone. Another 2021 study by the Charlotte Lozier Institute found that abortion-related emergency room visits by women taking the abortion drug increased more than 500 percent between 2002 and 2015.

The findings call into question a December action by the Biden administration that removed safety regulations from the abortion drug. Now, abortionists are selling the drugs online – often without seeing or even talking to the woman first.

Meanwhile, the life-saving abortion pill reversal treatment also is growing in use. This safe and effective method of reversing the abortion drug mifepristone has saved at least 3,000 babies’ lives so far.
