HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra gave $500,000 in federal tax dollars to a New Hampshire Planned Parenthood this week, thwarting state efforts to defunded the abortion chain.

WMUR 9 News reports the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services leader also visited a Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Manchester on Friday to show the Biden administration’s support for its abortion work.

“We’ve got your back,” Becerra told the abortion chain. “And there have been some challenging times. I don’t think they’re over, but you hung in there, and we hope to make a commitment to you that we’re not going to leave.”

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion chain in the U.S. It reported more than 350,000 abortions in 2020 and more than a billion dollars in revenue.

In January, the New Hampshire Executive Council voted 4-1 to reject contracts with Planned Parenthood and several other abortion groups, defunding them of more than $1 million in state taxpayer dollars.

According to the local news, Becerra admitted that his agency gave Planned Parenthood the $500,000 Title X Dire Need money to thwart the state action.

And Kayla Montgomery, a leader of Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, thanked him doing so.

“We are in a crisis moment,” Montgomery said. “We know that the Supreme Court is going to make a ruling soon that could possibly decimate abortion access in this country. We know that when that happens, 26 states could move immediately, or soon, to ban abortion.”

U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen and U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas, pro-abortion Democrats who represent New Hampshire, also joined Becerra at the meeting, according to the report.

“Since the 1970s, the Title X program that provides annual exams, cancer screenings, STI treatment has been noncontroversial, and it’s helped achieve a level of wellness among our population that’s really important,” Pappas told the local news outlet. “I hope we can stress that, that this is about health care.”

But it isn’t. Former Planned Parenthood CEO Leana Wen admitted that abortions are its “core mission,” and killing unborn babies in abortions is not health care.

Planned Parenthood has aborted more than 8 million unborn babies since abortion became legal nation-wide in 1973. Its most recent annual report showed a record number of abortions in 2020: 354,871, which is about 40 percent of all abortions in the U.S.

Meanwhile, the same report showed that many of Planned Parenthood’s actual health services continue to decline. It provided less contraception, sterilizations, cancer screenings, adoption referrals and other women’s health services than the previous year, mirroring a continued downward trend.

Its patient numbers also have been dropping steadily over the past decade amid numerous reports of alleged unethical and illegal activities by Planned Parenthood, including selling aborted baby body partsbotching abortions that killed womencovering up the sexual abuse of minorsdiscriminating against pregnant and racial minority employees, exploiting young girls by selling cross-sex hormones and more.

However, Planned Parenthood has huge political influence over the Biden administration. Its current CEO, Alexis McGill Johnson, recently bragged about staffing the president’s administration with pro-abortion “champions” like Becerra. The abortion chain spent at least $45 million to support Biden and other pro-abortion candidates in the 2020 elections.
