Liberals Call Pro-Life Americans “White Supremacists,” But They’re OK With Killing Black Babies in Abortions

There is little reason in most of the pro-abortion talking points of the day.

Case in point, the claim that pro-lifers are just racist white people who want to oppress blacks by forcing them to have children, thereby increasing the white population and white power.

Yet, these nonsense claims are being accepted and promoted by some of the most prominent educational institutions in the country.

California Catholic Daily reports UC Berkeley hosted a panel discussion on “reproductive justice” Thursday where abortion activists bashed pro-life advocates as white supremacists.

Never mind that many pro-life advocates are non-whites or that the abortion rate is disproportionately high in the African American community, the pro-abortion “experts” held themselves up as the advocates who truly care about black lives – and blasted pro-lifers as the oppressors – because they support the killing of unborn babies in abortions.

One panelist, Pamela Merritt, the executive director of Medical Students for Choice, claimed that pro-life laws are rooted in colonialism and white supremacy, according to the report.

“They want to control women for a reason, and they want to control reproduction for a reason,” Merritt said. “This is about population. This is about minority rule. This is about (how) white supremacy cannot function without white population growth.”

Basically, California Catholic Daily summarized their arguments as “white supremacists are pro-life because they fear running out of white people.”

The only way this claim makes any sense is to completely ignore the fact that abortions involve children. To make this argument, they not only have to believe that an unborn child is not a child but also that, if not for abortion, there would be many, many more black Americans alive today.

While abortions hurt families of every race and color, black Americans have a disproportionately high number of abortions compared to other racial groups. Census data indicates that African Americans make up about 13 percent of the U.S. population, but they have nearly 40 percent of all abortions.

According to the Guttmacher Institute, the abortion rate among African Americans is three times higher than white Americans. And New York City health statistics show that, in 2018, more unborn black babies were aborted in Manhattan than were born alive.

Since Roe v. Wade in 1973, about 63 million unborn babies have been aborted, approximately 20 million of whom were black. These children were unique, living, irreplaceable human beings who deserved a right to life.

Pro-life advocates are working to save unborn babies of all races and colors, but they especially are focused on the black community because so many of its unborn babies are aborted. Black pro-life leaders say the real racism comes from the abortion industry and its supporters who want more unborn black babies to be killed in abortions.
