Amy Schumer Compares Abortion to Liposuction: Killing a Baby “Makes You Feel Great About Yourself”

Actress Amy Schumer compared killing an unborn baby in an abortion to liposuction over the weekend, telling her Instagram followers, “Do whatever you want to feel great about yourself.”

The Daily Mail reports Schumer posted the message Friday after the Biden administration threw out safety regulations for the abortion drug mifepristone. The change means abortion businesses can sell the dangerous drug through the mail without ever seeing the woman in person.

“Mifepristone is what the abortion pill is called,” Schumer wrote on Instagram. “Also I got lipo around my C-section after my hysterectomy, decided to treat myself to a highly recommended guy name Dr. Jordan Terner.” She gave birth to her first child in 2019, according to the report.

Schumer went on to encourage her followers to do whatever feels good for them.

“Do whatever you want to feel great about yourself safely,” she wrote. “Always trying to keep it 100 percent …” She also tagged the abortion chain Carafem in her post.

The abortion drug mifepristone is the opposite of safe. In the past two decades, the drug has killed millions of unborn babies in the U.S.

It poses serious risks to the mother as well. The FDA also has linked the abortion drug to at least 24 women’s deaths and 4,000 serious complications between 2000 and 2018. Under President Barack Obama, the FDA stopped requiring that non-fatal complications from mifepristone be reported. So the numbers almost certainly are much higher.

An actress/comedian and cousin of Democrat Senate leader Chuck Schumer, Amy is well known for her abortion advocacy. Earlier this month, she ranted against pro-life efforts to protect unborn babies from abortion at the U.S. Supreme Court, calling it “f—ing sick” that Roe v. Wade may be overturned. In October during the Women’s March, she claimed that “women can’t be free” without the legal right to abort their unborn babies.
