Whoopi Goldberg Slams Pro-Life Men: You Don’t Get to Have an Opinion About Abortion

Actress Whoopi Goldberg launched into a bizarre rant against pro-life men Thursday on The View, claiming men do not get to have an opinion about abortion because they have “no idea what a fetus wants.”

Goldberg “went off” on her pro-abortion rant after the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a Mississippi case that directly challenges Roe v. Wadeaccording to Mediaite. Mississippi wants to be allowed to protect unborn babies from abortion, at the very least, by 15 weeks of pregnancy.

“Do any of you men have any eggs or the possibility of carrying a fetus?” Goldberg said. “How dare you talk about what a fetus wants! You have no idea.”

She continued: “Now I’m fine if you disagree with abortion. I have no problem with that. My problem comes when you tell me what I need to do with my doctor and my family. How dare you! How dare you!”

Abortion activists like Goldberg portray abortion as a women’s issue rather than what it really is: a human rights issue. And they try to silence anyone who disagrees with them. But no matter whether an issue directly affects a person or not, no matter what a person’s sex or ability to get pregnant, their opinions matter.

The truth is that fathers do not have any legal right to protect their own unborn children from abortion. Unborn babies from the moment of conception are unique, valuable human beings who are the responsibility of the mother and father who created them; but if a mother wants an abortion and a father does not, he has no legal right to stop her from aborting their child.

Goldberg never mentioned any of this. Instead, she made a bizarre claim about “what a fetus wants” – an interesting statement that contradicts her own pro-abortion position. People have watched ultrasounds showing unborn babies recoiling from abortionists’ tools and silently screaming as they were being aborted, and abortion survivors share their stories to demonstrate that their lives are valuable despite their mothers’ failed abortions.

These unborn babies’ desire to live, their heart-wrenching fight to escape pain and death, and abortion survivors’ stories mean nothing to Goldberg and abortion activists like her because a woman’s “right to choose” to abort her unborn babies is paramount in their minds, more important than a father’s right to protect his child and more important than a child’s right to life.
