It is impossible to measure the devastating impact of legalized abortion on America.
But the numbers that we do know are heart-wrenching. And one of them is: 2,363.
That is the average number of babies who are aborted every single day in the United States, based on 862,320 abortions reported in the U.S. in 2017 by the Guttmacher Institute.
The pro-life group Live Action just launched a massive campaign to expose the daily death toll as the U.S. Supreme Court prepares to hear a major abortion case Dec. 1, Fox News reports. That case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health, could end Roe v. Wade and allow states to protect unborn babies from abortion again.
“The mass killing of the innocent through abortion is the greatest crisis we face as human beings,” said Live Action president and founder Lila Rose.
Her organization is spending millions of dollars to promote its #2363campaign through billboards and radio, TV and digital advertising, according to the report.

Rose said Americans deserve to know the devastating facts about abortion.
“These 2,363 precious lives are killed through chemical abortions – starved of nutrients, then forcibly miscarried, or torn into pieces by suction and removed from their mothers, or torn limb from torso by forceps while still alive, before their skulls are crushed, or stabbed in the heart or head with a lethal injection,” she said.
During a #2363campaign kickoff event Saturday in Los Angeles, Christian evangelist Nick Vujicic emphasized just how critical the abortion issue is in the world today, according to blogger Caleb Parke. Vujicic, who was born without limbs, said the greatest need, “apart from souls being saved,” is “saving the lives of innocent children.”
The number of unborn babies who have been aborted since Roe v. Wade in 1973 is mind-boggling. Pro-life organizations put the estimate at nearly 63 million. Each baby was a unique, irreplaceable human being. Most had beating hearts and all had their own DNA, separate and unique from their mother’s.
Pro-life advocates are working to remind Americans of the humanity of unborn babies and the violence of abortion as the Supreme Court prepares to hear the Mississippi case. If the court rules favorably, states may be allowed to protect unborn babies from abortion for the first time in nearly 50 years.
