Joe Biden has hit another new low in terms of his approval rating. After the disaster in Afghanistan and his radical abortion agenda of trying to force Americans to fund killing babies in abortions, a strong majority of Americans now disapprove of his job.
A new Rasmussen poll released today shows just 42% of Americans approve of Biden’s job while 56% disapprove. And among the Americans with the most passionate views one way or the other, just 24% strongly approve of his job while 47% strongly disapprove. That -23% margin is the largest since Biden took over the White House in January.
Joe Biden’s Abysmal Failure in Afghanistan Reminds Us How We Need a Pro-Life President
After a deadly terrorist attack that left 13 American soldiers dead and another 18 injured, members of Congress came out in droves last week demanding that Joe Biden resign. Not only has the president botched the Afghanistan withdrawal, but he has crafted a radical pro-abortion record that has expanded killing babies in abortions and has forced Americans to fund it.
Rep. Vicky Hartzler of Missouri spoke for many Americans when she called on Biden to resign and said his standing in the world has ruined the image of America for people worldwide.
“Biden has become the portrait of this chaos, and his standing in America, and the world, is forever diminished. It is time he realize this and acknowledge that America’s recovery, both domestically and across the globe, begins with his resignation as president. It is the right thing to do,’ she said.
Other Republican lawmakers joined the chorus:
Oklahoma Congressman Kevin Hern wants Biden to resign: “Biden has failed the American people as Commander-in-Chief and does not deserve the respect of that title any longer.”
Florida Congressman Greg Steube agreed: “Joe Biden needs to take responsibility and resign. We must keep our troops safe and our country protected. God bless our soldiers and their families.”

Texas Republican Congressman Roger Williams concurred: “Today’s terrorist attacks in Afghanistan are the tragic outcomes of the decisions by a failed American President. President Biden should resign immediately.”
“Well Joe, you’ve proven yourself incapable of handling your job as Commander in Chief. You ignored your advisors, rushed this haphazard withdrawal without appropriate conditions and before evacuating our citizens and friends. Your ineptitude has now cost at least 12 American lives,” Rep. Tom Rice said Thursday. “All options are on the table to hold President Biden accountable for this tragic chain of avoidable events… Resign and turn the job over to someone who can handle it.”
Among the other Republicans who called on Biden to resign are Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., House GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., and Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, R-Iowa.
“Joe Biden has now overseen the deadliest day for U.S. troops in Afghanistan in over a decade, and the crisis grows worse by the hour. We must reject the falsehood peddled by a feckless president that this was the only option for withdrawal. This is the product of Joe Biden’s catastrophic failure of leadership. It is now painfully clear he has neither the will nor the capacity to lead. He must resign,” Hawley said in a statement.
Blackburn issued a similar message, blaming the Biden administration for having “no plan and no strategy,” putting Americans into direct harm and causing many casualties.
“Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Antony Blinken, Lloyd Austin, and General Milley should all resign or face impeachment and removal from office,” she urged in a statement.
Among pro-life Americans, Biden is getting consistently low marks as he is hell-bent on forcing Americans to fund abortions and has compiled a radically pro-abortion record.
Biden has already been the most radical pro-abortion president ever and he has only occupied the White House for 100 days.
Soon after Biden was inaugurated, he got rid of the Mexico City Policy and restored tens of millions of taxpayer dollars to the International Planned Parenthood Federation, which kills babies in abortions around the world and lobbies to legalize abortions in pro-life countries. Pro-life leaders warned that the money will be used to pressure countries in Africa and South America to legalize the killing of unborn babies in abortions, which could result in tens of millions of babies killed in abortion.
Additionally, the Biden administration recently introduced a rule to restore taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood and other abortion groups through Title X. He also signed a COVID relief package with no limits on taxpayer funding for abortions.
Religious freedom also is at risk. Right now, Biden is pressuring Congress to pass the Equality Act, which would strip away conscience protections for pro-life medical workers and create a “right” to demand an abortion.
Biden also made the decision to stop enforcing FDA safety regulations for abortion drugs. Now, the abortion industry can sell abortion drugs through the mail without ever seeing the woman in person — which will result in more babies dying in abortions and killing or injuring women as well with dangerous abortion pills.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration restored taxpayer funding to research that uses aborted baby body parts, a reversal from the Trump administration.
Biden is even more radically pro-abortion than Barack Obama, as a new report from the Family Research Council shows Biden has made at least $479.9 billion available that can subsidize abortion and abortion businesses — more than 19 times the level set under President Obama.
As National Review puts it: “During the first 100 days of his administration, President Joe Biden has demonstrated his willingness to champion the progressive movement’s radical preferences on abortion policy. As president, Biden appears to have shed any last vestiges of pretending to believe that unborn human beings deserve even minor protections under the law or that pro-life taxpayers ought not be forced to fund elective abortions.”
In another pro-abortion action, Joe Biden’s administration dropped a lawsuit that President Donald Trump had filed on behalf of a pro-life nurse who was forced to participate in an abortion. Members are Congress are irate that Biden abandoned the pro-life nurse and have authored a joint letter condemning him.
Though Biden professes to be a devout Catholic, he openly defies church teachings about the sanctity of human life. After just 100 days in office, he already surpassed President Barack Obama as the most pro-abortion president in U.S. history.
Recently, his administration stopped enforcing safety regulations that protect mothers and unborn babies from dangerous abortion drugs. Now abortion drugs are being sold by mail without a woman ever having to see a doctor in person.
Biden’s 2021 budget plan also would expand abortions by eliminating the Hyde Amendment for the first time in more than 40 years. Without the amendment, Americans would be forced to directly fund the killing of unborn babies in abortions through Medicaid and other federal programs. The amendment is credited with saving about 2.4 million unborn babies from abortion.
