Joe Biden keeps choosing radical pro-abortion politicians to fill positions in his administration.

One of his newest nominees — Massachusetts state Rep. Claire Cronin, D-Easton, for U.S. ambassador to Ireland — was the lead advocate of legislation that expanded abortions up to birth in her state, the New Boston Post reports.

Reacting to the news, the Catholic Action League of Massachusetts called Cronin an “abortion extremist” even though she, like Biden, is Catholic.

“The Claire Cronin appointment reflects, accurately, the Culture of Death values which define the Biden administration, and which have guided Joe Biden’s 50-year political career. Cronin’s choice will likely prove popular in what is now a thoroughly de-Christianized, post-Catholic Ireland,” said C.J. Doyle, executive director of the Catholic organization, in a statement.

An “ally” of the billion-dollar Planned Parenthood abortion chain, Cronin was the lead sponsor of a 2020 Massachusetts law that expands late-term abortions and allows young girls to get abortions without their parents’ knowledge or consent.

In 2018, she supported the N.A.S.T.Y. (Negating Archaic Statutes Targeting Young) Woman Act, which repealed several unenforced state laws that banned abortions.

Cronin also campaigned for Biden’s presidential run in Massachusetts, according to the Post.

Doyle said Biden, Cronin and far too many other Catholic politicians support abortion in violation of church teachings and basic human rights.

He said Cronin “is one of nearly 7,400 state legislators in the U.S. If you add county and local elected officials, along with 535 members of Congress, you now have, probably, thousands of Catholic office holders in this country who support abortion.”

His organization urged the U.S. Catholic bishops to send a strong message that Catholics cannot support the killing of unborn babies in abortions.

Biden, a supposedly devout Catholic who campaigned on the promise of unifying Americans, surpassed President Barack Obama as the most pro-abortion president in U.S. history after just 100 days in office.

Recently, his administration stopped enforcing safety regulations that protect mothers and unborn babies from dangerous abortion drugs. Now abortion drugs are being sold by mail without a woman ever having to see a doctor in person.

Biden’s 2021 budget plan also would expand abortions by eliminating the Hyde Amendment for the first time in more than 40 years. Without the amendment, Americans would be forced to directly fund the killing of unborn babies in abortions through Medicaid and other federal programs.

Other pro-abortion leaders in the Biden administration include:

U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris of California as vice president

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh as secretary of labor

Rhode Island Gov. Gina Raimondo as commerce secretary

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra as secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services

David Kessler as the chief science officer of the COVID-19 response

Jaime Harrison as head of the Democrat National Committee
