A Tacoma, Washington teacher is facing wide-spread criticism after giving middle school students a flyer that told 11-year-olds they could have sex and get an abortion without a parent’s knowledge.
Fox News reports Seattle radio host Jason Rantz initially exposed the Planned Parenthood flyer last week after parents at Stewart Middle School in Tacoma expressed outrage at its contents.
The school district apologized and made it clear that the flyer was given out without approval, but Rantz said the teacher’s actions show a “stunning lack of judgment.” The teacher is not named in reports, and it is not clear if the teacher was disciplined.
“In fact, I think one can reasonably conclude it was willful, that the teacher may have suspected the flyer to be inappropriate but passed it out anyway,” he said.
The Post Millennial reports the flyer came from the billion-dollar abortion chain Planned Parenthood, which boasts of being the largest sex education provider in the United States.

Among other things, the flyer told students that the age of consent to have sex in Washington state is 11 as long as the child has sex with someone less than two years older than them.
It also told students that they do not need permission from a parent to get tested for HIV or STDs if they are at least 14, and they do not need permission from a parent at any age to get an abortion or prescription birth control.
Eric Hogan, a spokesperson for the school district, said the flyer was distributed in “error,” and “corrective action has been taken with this employee.”
Hogan said the flyer was not approved and should not have been given to students. He said Planned Parenthood no longer provides presentations at the school, but it left a folder with some of its materials at the school. Earlier this month, he said a teacher took the flyer from the packet and distributed it to students.
But Rantz said Planned Parenthood never should have been involved at the school in the first place, Christian Headlines reports.
“That Planned Parenthood representatives were even allowed on campus shows poor institutional judgment from the district,” Rantz wrote at MyNorthwest.com. “I suppose we should not be that shocked that this flyer was handed out.”
“Anything that tells kids they don’t have to talk to loving parents or guardians, particularly on serious issues like abortion or birth control, should never find its way to a child,” he added.
Planned Parenthood boasts of being “the single largest provider of sex education in the United States.” It aborts more unborn babies than any other group in the U.S. and reports billion-dollar revenues. Troubling for many Americans, its annual budget also includes about half a billion tax dollars.
Many believe it uses its sex education programs to groom children for sex and abortions.
Among its worst teaching points, Planned Parenthood tells children that promiscuity is ok. “There’s nothing bad or unhealthy about having a big number of sexual partners,” it tells students on its Tumbler page. Planned Parenthood’s booklet for HIV-positive youth, “Healthy, Happy and Hot,” tells young people that it is their “human right” to not tell their sexual partner that they have HIV.
Numerous communities have rejected Planned Parenthood as a sex education teacher. The whole Massachusetts legislature rejected a bill in 2017 that recommended its middle school sex education curriculum. The program teaches children as young as 12 “how to perform oral and anal sex.”
Concerned parents in Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, California, Washington state, New York, North Carolina and other parts of the country also have protested Planned Parenthood’s involvement in their students’ education in the past several years.
In one case, parents at a Pennsylvania school said a Planned Parenthood partner group taught seventh-grade students graphic details about oral sex during a science class.
Former abortion facility workers and sex education instructors also have said abortion businesses use sex education programs to push money-making abortions on vulnerable young people.
