Joe Biden is supposedly a “devout” and “faithful” Catholic but his spokeswoman Jen Psaki can’t even say if he would protect the conscience rights of Christian doctors who don’t want to be forced to promote or perform abortions.
During her press conference today, EWTN reporter Own Jensen asked Psaki about this issue.
“Pro-life groups are very conferned with the phrase “pregnancy discrimination’ in the Equality Act, you’re familiar with the phrase I’m sure. And it would force doctors to perform abortions even if it violates their conscience. What does President Biden say about those concerns?” he asked.
Psaki dodged the question as she usually does.
“The president has been a long supporter of Roe v. Wade. it has been his consistent belief that it should be law and he will fight to continue to protect that.”
Jensen retorted: “So are conscience concerns not a concern of his?”
Psaki avoided a second time, saying, I”M just going to state what the president’s polices are.”

Jensen tried another angle, asking, “Will President Biden keep the Conscience and Religious Freedom Division at HHS, the office that was put in place under President Trump, will he keep it in place to receive conscience complaints from those doctors?”
Psaki deflected a third time saying “You will have to talk to a future Secretary Becerra once he is confirmed.”
