Abortion giant Planned Parenthood has been exposed online for targeting women of colour in the US. Michael Robinson, SPUC Director of Communications said: “This is not the first time Planned Parenthood has released exploitative, racist content aimed at the black community.”
Women of colour were targeted in an online statement from Planned Parenthood, which kills an average of 350,000 unborn children every year. The abortion giant told women of colour that in America it was safer for them to have an abortion than to give birth.
Pro-life bodies swiftly assembled to decry Planned Parenthood’s exploitation of women of colour.
One pro-life platform responded to Planned Parenthood’s statement saying:
“Dear black women in America, please note that Planned Parenthood is not offering to make pregnancy safer for you, just to kill your offspring. They’re saying the quiet part out loud. You’re a potential customer to them. Abortion is the product.
“I hope you see through that. Let’s work together to make pregnancy safer.
“Someone who has nothing to sell you besides the truth.”
SPUC’s Mr Robinson said: “The abortion industry targets poor black neighbourhoods where there are high numbers of single parents.”
During 2020, SPUC reported on a startling 2016 study which exposed that in New York City, more black babies are aborted than are born.

Similarly, in 2010, Planned Parenthood came under scrutiny after a census suggested that the abortion giant was preying on black communities. 79% of their surgical abortion facilities were within walking distance of African American or Hispanic communities.
Brutality towards the black community
It is estimated that abortion is the leading killer of black Americans in the USA.
259,366 black Americans are killed by abortion each year. This death toll is greater than every other leading cause of death for black Americans combined.
Abortion-induced deaths of the unborn in the black community are 69 times higher than HIV deaths, 31 times higher than (all other) homicides, 3.6 times higher than cancer-related deaths, and 3.5 times higher than deaths caused by heart disease.
SPUC’s Mr Robinson said: “The key interest Planned Parenthood has in black America is profiting from the spilling of black blood through abortion. If we are going to see justice for black Americans, and for all Americans regardless of their ethnic background, the doors of Planned Parenthood must be closed for ever.”
