We Must Keep the Senate to Stop Abortion. Vote for Pro-Life Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue

All eyes are watching Georgia as the state is poised to decide the fate of the U.S. Senate and our nation.

It matters that Georgians deeply value life. They’ve clearly prioritized life in their laws, which are among the most protective in the country for unborn children and their mothers.

They’ve prioritized life through their chosen leaders as well. Georgia’s current U.S. Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue make a strong pro-life team advocating for their pro-life constituents. Both have co-sponsored legislation to stop late-term abortions, protect babies who survive abortions, and end taxpayer funding of the abortion industry — mirroring at the federal level what Georgia lawmakers have worked to accomplish in the state.

Loeffler, in particular, is in the vanguard of a new generation of pro-life women leaders — a group that includes Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett, along with a record-breaking 28 pro-life women elected to Congress this year. Strong pro-life women like Loeffler bring sorely needed perspectives and voices to our government.

The Democratic candidates, in contrast, are abortion extremists who are wildly out of step with Georgia.

Jon Ossoff has been pitched as a fresh-faced, idealistic newcomer, but the abortion industry that backs him could not be more emblematic of the corruption he claims to want to take on. In his unsuccessful bid for Congress in 2017, then the most expensive House race in history, Ossoff’s second-largest financial backer was the abortion business Planned Parenthood. Each year, Planned Parenthood ends more than 345,000 lives and leeches more than half a billion dollars off hardworking taxpayers. Even worse, undercover video footage and court testimony reveal its role in harvesting the body parts of babies killed in late-term abortions to be sold for profit.

Raphael Warnock’s abortion extremism may be even more egregious because it is cloaked in pastoral piety and lofty rhetoric borrowed from the civil rights movement. He’s described abortion on demand at any time, for any reason, as “a human right” and asserted that God is OK with the more than 60 million abortions since Roe v. Wade. Like Ossoff, Warnock boasts of his support from Planned Parenthood and NARAL, another radical pro-abortion lobby group.

Most Georgians, when they understand the modern Democratic Party agenda, will reject it. But it is crucial that they are aware of the stark differences between the candidates on the issue of life. That’s why the Susan B. Anthony List and Women Speak Out team is going all-in to reach 1 million voters to deliver victory for Loeffler and Perdue.

Life or death is on the line this January. Without a pro-life Republican majority in the Senate, the Biden-Harris administration, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and the radical abortion lobby will have unchecked power to expand taxpayer-funded abortion on demand and roll back decades of pro-life progress. They will stop at nothing to get their way, including eliminating the filibuster and packing the Supreme Court.

This battle is winnable. Pro-life champions won in states such as South Carolina and Texas, despite historic spending to launch a “blue wave” that never came. Life is winning in America, but every last vote is needed if we are to keep this momentum going.

Another Georgian named Perdue, Sonny, famously said that Georgia should aspire to nothing less than greatness, and greatness is within our grasp. Now is the moment to seize it.
