Planned Parenthood Abortion Biz CEO Brags She’s Staffing Joe Biden’s Administration

The Planned Parenthood abortion chain spent a record-breaking $45 million to support Joe Biden for president, and now it is shaping his administration.

In an interview with Newsweek, Alexis McGill Johnson, the CEO of Planned Parenthood, made it clear just how strong of an influence her abortion chain has over the Democrat politician and the people who he picks to help lead the nation.

“We know that personnel is policy,” Johnson said of the Biden administration. “So we’re making sure that those positions are filled with sexual and reproductive health champions.”

While Planned Parenthood is urging Biden to immediately repeal President Donald Trump’s pro-life policies, increase taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood and work with Congress to pass pro-abortion legislation, its primary focus right now is filling his administration with abortion activists, according to the report.

“… most of the conversations with the Biden-Harris transition team, Johnson said, have been focused on appointments within the White House, the administration and various federal agencies. Planned Parenthood and its allies have identified and recommended nearly 200 people for key positions,” Newsweek reported.

Americans already have two examples of the kinds of people Planned Parenthood wants to see in office: Kamala Harris, Biden’s choice for vice president, and Xavier Becerra, his pick for secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. Both politicians are accused of abusing their power to punish whistle-blowers and force nuns, churches and pregnancy centers to support abortions.

And what are Planned Parenthood’s priorities once Biden fills his administration with abortion activists? More money, more power and more dead babies.

Johnson told Newsweek, “The first thing we would like to see would be an executive order on day one, within the first 100 days, that demonstrates the administration’s commitment to sexual and reproductive health care.”

Planned Parenthood, a billion-dollar “nonprofit,” is lobbying Biden to immediately eliminate Trump’s Mexico City and Title X policies. Together, Trump’s policies defunded Planned Parenthood and other abortion groups of more than $200 million.

But that is just the start. Planned Parenthood wants more money through the federal budget, too. According to the report, the abortion group is pushing Biden to triple Title X funding from about $280 million to $954 million. Before Trump, Planned Parenthood was one of the largest recipients of Tile X funds, which are used to help low-income individuals access family planning services. Planned Parenthood wants Biden to increase funding for sex education grants, too, Newsweek reports.

“The budget is a key opportunity to indicate how this administration would prioritize these programs that have been woefully underfunded for a long time,” Jacqueline Ayers, vice president of government relations and public policy at Planned Parenthood, told Newsweek.

The abortion group could get another big cash flow if Democrats succeed in repealing the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits taxpayer funding for elective abortions in Medicaid. Polls consistently show that most Americans oppose taxpayer funding for abortions, but Biden does not. Democrats in the U.S. House already are holding hearings about forcing taxpayers to fund abortions, too.

The Hyde Amendment has saved about 2.4 million unborn babies from abortions, according to the Charlotte Lozier Institute. If ended, about 60,000 more unborn babies could be unnecessarily aborted every year.

All of these priorities would be disastrous for unborn babies, mothers and the pro-life individuals and charities who are trying to help them.

Planned Parenthood kills more unborn babies in abortions than any other group in the U.S. Last year, it reported more than 345,000 abortions, a record number, and $1.6 billion in revenue while providing fewer actual health care services and seeing fewer patients.

Planned Parenthood supports Biden because he supports the abortion industry’s efforts to expand abortions. Gone are the old days of Democrats talking about wanting abortions to be “rare.” Now, they openly support expanding the killing of unborn babies in abortions and forcing taxpayers to fund their deaths.
