Chris Cuomo: Republicans Purposefully Let People Die From COVID, They Should be Punished

The rhetoric coming from CNN’s Chris Cuomo has gotten more and more disturbing with each passing week since the election. Monday made it the third week in a row he had used PrimeTime as a platform to launch thinly veiled threats against the lives of Republicans. According to the roid-raging anchor, the GOP intentionally allowed the pandemic to get out of control, and demanded that punishment be delivered “directly and cold.”

Ahead of his maligning of Republicans as a whole, he doubled down on last week’s target of his venom, General Service Administration head Emily Murphy. On November 19, he showed Murphy’s official office photograph to his audience and dementedly proclaimed: “She’s smiling while you’re dying all over this country.

This time around, after she had kicked off the transition process with President-elect Biden’s team earlier that day, Cuomo described her as something that “we must stomp out in our politics.” His vitriol quickly grew as he read from Murphy’s statement and scoffed at it:

The GSA head writes, “I have always strived to do what’s right. Please know that I came to my decision independently based on the law and available facts. I was never directly or indirectly pressured by any executive branch official, including those who work at the White House or GSA with regard to the substance or timing of my decision.”

Carefully worded and with good reason. You know why? She was just doing her job. She was refusing to do her job. And on what basis? There was no legitimate basis. There were no facts she could draw on to question the results or the apparent winner. So what did she base it on? She was never pressured?

Again, this occurred the week after he (a man with a long history of supporting the left-wing, domestic terrorists of Antifa) put a target on her back, he openly refused to read from President Trump’s tweet calling out the harassment, threats, and abuse she was subjected to. “I’m not going to read it. It’s no need to anymore,” he said.

Later in his opening tirade, Cuomo shifted to smearing all Republicans in the party. “It is about the man who lost AND, AND all those who sat idle. Not a single GOPer has called out Trump’s savaging of our democracy. Know that,” he spat.

After falsely claiming the media would hold an incoming Biden administration to account, Cuomo had a dangerous warning targeting the GOP. “If we don’t expose and hold those who allowed this travesty to happen, if we don’t hold them to account, they will just keep doing what Trump demands,” he sneered.

Adding: “What happened here was ugly and intentional. And the response must be served directly and cold. All those who stood silent and pretended this was just about style, or things they wouldn’t say but he can, and that there were legitimate issues to litigate, they knew better.”

Some might argue that he was only speaking about the election and Trump’s refusal to concede. But Cuomo made it clear he was tying the lack of concession and the pandemic together:

Now, the election is released from the grip of this gripe that Trumpers hold. Now, we can get to the real fight for relief for all of those suffering and literally going hungry in the richest country in the world. Maybe some plans, resources in fighting the pandemic and figuring out our panic approach to school.

Cuomo had been doing it for weeks. Repeatedly lying about who was to blame for the lack of relief for struggling families. Last week he got schooled by Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) on how Senate Republican aid packages were filibustered by Democrats. He also refuses to acknowledge that Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has rejected compromising with the White House.

He had even admitted to threatening Republican lives with his lies. “And now they say, ‘Oh, the kind of scrutiny Cuomo is talking about, it makes us victims.’ Once and for all. Shut up,” he shouted, speaking of reports exposing him like this one and others from NewsBusters.
