Joe Biden Names Abortion Activist Ron Klain as His Chief of Staff Should He Win

Ronald Klain, a pro-abortion Democrat fixture since the Clinton administration, will be Joe Biden’s White House Chief of Staff, should he be the confirmed winner.

NPR reports the Biden campaign announced Klain for the position Wednesday, further signaling Biden’s commitment to abortion on demand.

Klain has been involved in the Democrat political establishment for four decades. He worked as Biden’s chief of staff when Biden was vice president under pro-abortion President Barack Obama, and held various positions during pro-abortion President Bill Clinton’s administration, according to the Biden campaign.

According to Haaretz: “Klain’s history with Biden dates back to Biden’s chairmanship of the Senate Judiciary Committee in the 1980s. In 1991, when the committee held the contentious Supreme Court confirmation hearing for Clarence Thomas, Klain, the committee’s top lawyer, was charged with investigating sexual harassment claims against Thomas made by Anita Hill… he also shepherded the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg onto the court during President Bill Clinton’s administration …”

And, as is increasingly obvious among Democratic Party leadership, Klain also has very close ties to the abortion industry and its advocacy groups, especially NARAL.

Live Action News reports Klain once described himself as “[j]ust a soldier in your army @Ilyseh,” referring to Ilyse Hogue, the president of NARAL.

In 2019, he celebrated NARAL’s 50th anniversary with Hogue, posting a picture of himself with her and a group of other abortion activists on Twitter, according to the report.

“It was an honor to join @ilyseh & @NARAL to mark #NARAL50 and discuss the need to protect reproductive freedom through the courts and judicial nominations,” he wrote.

NARAL supports abortions without limits through all nine months of pregnancy. One of its founders, Dr. Bernard Nathanson, later became pro-life and admitted that NARAL lied about the number of women who died from illegal abortions prior to Roe v. WadeNARAL is not “pro-choice” either. It advocates for abortions and attacks pro-life pregnancy centers that offer women support when they choose life for their babies.

Hogue, its new leader, works closely with Democrat leaders like Klain. In 2016, she spoke at the Democratic National Convention about how she made the “compassionate” decision to abort her unborn baby.

If Klain gets the top spot in the White House, Hogue could have a major influence on Biden and his policies. According to Biden’s campaign, Klain will oversee the Executive Office of the President and work as Biden’s top senior advisor.

“In addition to supporting the president-elect, Klain will work to build a diverse, experienced and talented team to help President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris meet the urgent challenges facing the country,” the campaign said.

Klain has been very open about his support for killing unborn babies in abortions. In 2018, he wrote an op-ed at the Washington Post about the “threat to reproductive freedom” – meaning abortion on demand – at the U.S. Supreme Court.

“To be clear, every woman’s rights are at risk if Roe is overturned,” Klain wrote.

On Twitter and other venues, he also has been hostile toward pro-life advocates, once referring to Vice President Mike Pence as “anti-choice” rather than pro-life, according to Live Action.

“The right is not just pursuing a reversal of Roe; they seek a constitutional rule to protect the fetus and strike down STATE laws that provide abortion rights. If you think the anti-choice movement will stop at reversing Roe, you are missing the real story here,” Klain wrote on Twitter recently.

Perhaps because of pro-abortion radicals like Klain, Biden has become increasingly radical on the issue himself. If elected, he promised to reverse all of President Donald Trump’s progress for life, support abortions without limits and force taxpayers to fund unborn babies’ abortion deaths.
