Hillary Clinton in August: “Joe Biden Should Not Concede Under Any Circumstances”

Back in August, in an interview  with her former communications director Jennifer Palmieri for Showtime’s “The Circus,” pro-abortion Hillary Clinton had strong words for pro-abortion Joe Biden’s campaign:

“Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances because I think this is going to drag out and eventually I do believe he will win if we don’t give an inch and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is.”

But, of course, that was then, and now the networks and the Media Elite have announced that Joe Biden has won the presidency. So, of course, the counsel is for pro-life President Donald Trump to concede.

BTW, this is the same Joe Biden who, having  unleashed a ceaseless barrage of ugly epithets against pro-life President Donald Trump, on Saturday said, “It’s time to put away the harsh rhetoric. To lower the temperature.”

As broadcaster Chris Plante has said on many occasions, if Democrats did not have double standards, they’d have no standards at all.

Pro-life Senate Judiciary Committee chair Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) had the exact opposite advice for President Trump.

“If Republicans don’t challenge and change the U.S. election system, there will never be another Republican president elected again,” Graham said Sunday on Fox News. “President Trump should not concede. We’re down to less — 10,000 votes in Georgia. He’s going to win North Carolina. We have gone from 93,000 votes to less than 20,000 votes in Arizona, where more — more votes to be counted.”

According to The Hill,

“The Trump team has canvassed all early voters and absentee mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania, and they have found over 100 people they think were dead but 15 people that we verified that have been dead who voted,” Graham alleged. “Here is the one that gets me: Six people registered after they died and voted. In Pennsylvania, I guess you’re never out of it.”

Of course, there are “leaks” intended to convey that “advisers” are “divided” over whether to go forward. This may be the oldest canard of all time.

But the President is made of much sterner stuff than that. He believes the votes were unfairly counted, and he intends to go to court to get an honest number in key states such as Pennsylvania.

Byron York pointed the irony of Democrats complaining when “Trump says the other side cheated.” Why should  they be surprised? “After all, they said the same thing four years ago after the 2016 election,” York writes.

And they didn’t do it for just a week or two. Democrats pressed the cheating accusation to extraordinary lengths, month after month and year after year, inflicting as much damage on Trump’s presidency as they possibly could. Today, after the 2020 vote, Trump’s accusations won’t have the same effect — they will be dismissed and then ignored by much of the media, as opposed to 2016-2019, when comparably groundless anti-Trump allegations were given daily headlines. But the fact is, in the Trump era, some Democrats made a false accusation of cheating part of their political strategy. They are in a poor position to complain about it now.

Good for the President for refusing to knuckle under to pro-abortion Democrats and the Major Media (one in the same). As he tweeted on Sunday

“Since when does the Lamestream Media call who our next president will be? We have all learned a lot in the last two weeks!”
