After spending the majority of Monday morning’s GMA celebrating Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, ABC’s journalists saved some time for their usual Trump trashing with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
For the second day in a row, anchor George Stephanopoulos invited Cuomo onto his network to sow fear about the Trump administration’s vaccine distribution plan and advise Joe Biden on what he should be doing instead to combat COVID-19. For some reason the media continues to stroke the Democrat’s ego in getting his coronavirus advice, despite his dismal record.
Stephanopoulos started off the interview inviting the Democrat, who’s spent the last several months blaming the president for his own leadership failures, to give his thoughts about a vaccine being distributed before Biden takes office. Of course Cuomo took the opportunity to spread panic about Trump’s vaccine plan:

Well, it’s good news/bad news George. The good news is the pfizer tests look good and we’ll have a vaccine shortly. The bad news is that it’s about two months before Joe Biden takes over and that means this administration is going to be implementing a vaccine plan….And the Trump administration is rolling out the vaccination plan and I believe it’s flawed. I believe it learns nothing from the past. They’re basically going to have the private providers do it and that’s going to leave out all sorts of communities that were left out the first time when COVID ravaged them.
Stephanopoulos only encouraged this dangerous rhetoric: “So what needs to be done that the Trump administration won’t do that President-Elect Biden could do?” he gushed.
Cuomo complained that there wasn’t enough government involvement in Trump’s plan and it was a problem that hospitals and pharmacies were going to be distributing the vaccine because, according to him, many communities that were hard-hit don’t have access to either of those:
… [T]hey’re going to take this vaccine and they’re going to go through the private mechanism. Through hospitals, through drug market chains, et cetera. That’s going to be slow and that’s going to bypass the communities that we call health care deserts. If you don’t have a Rite Aid or a CVS then you’re in trouble and that’s what happened the first time with COVID. Why do we have such a disparity in the infection rate and mortality rate in COVID? Because some communities don’t have the same access to health care.
The Democrat governor then revealed how his own greed outweighed his desire to help people in need, by actually urging fellow Democrat leaders to resist, fix and “stop” the Trump administration from getting out a vaccine if it wasn’t done how the left wants it to be distributed:
…[Y]ou have two months and we can’t let this vaccination plan go forward the way that Trump administration is designing it because Biden can’t undo it two months later. We’ll be in the midst of it and I’m going — I’ve been talking to governors across the nation about that. How can we shape the Trump administration vaccine plan to fix it or stop it before it does damage?
Stephanopoulos had no disagreement or pushback to this outrageous and dangerous statement and continued chatting with Cuomo as the governor pushed for a national mask mandate and more lockdowns.
