Three pro-life Catholic protesters stood outside Joe Biden’s Delaware church Sunday to call him out for supporting abortion on demand.
The Democrat presidential candidate has been talking about his Catholic faith often on the campaign trail, saying he cares “for the least of these” and wants to create unity in America. However, Biden has quietly embraced taxpayer-funded abortions on demand. And while constantly bringing up the importance of his faith, Biden has endorsed anti-religious freedom policies that would force nuns, religious charities and hospitals to violate their deeply-held beliefs.
On Sunday, the small group of protesters held signs outside St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church in Greenville as Biden attended Mass there, according to Report Door. A journalist at Bloomberg News first reported on the small protest.
The Daily Mail reports the pro-life protesters consisted of two women and a man who held signs that read, “No Catholic can vote for Joe Biden,” “Joe – No devout Catholic supports abortion” and “Joe Biden equals abortion, euthanasia and infanticide.”

As Biden entered the church, according to [Bloomberg], the protesters told him to “repent for your soul” and “repent for Beau’s soul,” referring to the ex-vice president’s eldest son, Beau Biden, who died in 2015 at 46 after a battle with cancer. …
When Biden left the house of worship, the protestors chanted “Joe, you’re a disgrace to the Catholic faith,” footage shows.

Biden’s position on abortion is extreme and out of touch with most Americans.
Last year, he announced that he no longer supports the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits taxpayer-funded elective abortions in Medicaid and other programs. Popular among Americans, the amendment has saved more than 2.4 million unborn babies from abortions, according to research by Charlotte Lozier Institute. Without it, about 60,000 more unborn babies could be aborted every year in the U.S.
Biden also said one of his first acts as president would be to restore funding to Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion chain in America.
Biden said he is committed to “the constitutional right to an abortion” and to reversing “the Trump administration and states’ all-out assault on women’s right to choose.” He promised to “work to codify Roe v. Wade.” The infamous U.S. Supreme Court decision made the United States one of only seven countries in the world that allows elective abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.
Biden even has called abortions an “essential medical service” – as if slaughtering a unique, irreplaceable human child inside his/her mother’s womb is something good.
His and running mate Kamala Harris’s position on religious freedom, including conscience protections for medical workers, also is deeply troubling. They oppose a religious exemption from the Obamacare contraception mandate for the Little Sisters of the Poor, a nuns’ charity that serves the poor and elderly. The U.S. Supreme Court recently granted the Little Sisters relief from the Obama-era mandate, which would have forced them to fund contraception, including forms that may cause abortions, in their employee health plans.
Abortion is the biggest killer of human life in America. Every year, nearly 1 million unique, irreplaceable unborn babies are killed in abortions. Since Roe v. Wade, there have been about 62 million abortions in the U.S. alone.
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops has been urging voters to make protections for unborn babies a “preeminent” priority at the voting booth this year.
