Bogus CNN Poll Falsely Claims Biden Will Defeat Trump in a Landslide

The closer we get to November 3, the more discombobulated the enemies of pro-life President would become. But…reading the latest onslaughts, the only stone left to hurl is to accuse the President of personally authorizing the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Obviously, the election and the confirmation fight over Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court are #1 and #2 items on everyone’s agenda. As is our custom, let me offer some headline and fill in some details.

Let me start with excerpts from the speech Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell delivered Monday on the floor of the Senate regarding how the Judiciary Committee will handle the nomination of Judge Barrett, in the face of pro-abortion Democrat obstruction.

SIGN THE PLEDGE: I’m Voting for President Donald Trump!

*“For weeks now, numerous Senate Democrats have publicly promised they would try every trick in the book, every maneuver available, to obstruct and delay a fair confirmation process. Weeks ago, the junior Senator for Hawaii [Mazie Hirono ]pledged: ‘I will look for every procedural tool that I can find to make sure that this does not happen.’

“Weeks ago, the senior Senator for Massachusetts [Elizabeth Warren]: ‘We need to use every tool… We need to think seriously about everything we can do to try to slow this down.’ The number-two Democratic Senator, our friend from Illinois [Dick Durbin], has said, ‘we [will] use whatever tools we have available’ to ‘slow things down.’ “Just yesterday, in the very same press conference where the Democratic Leader [Chuck Schumer] claimed that his latest calls to delay the hearings were rooted in health and safety concerns, he gave the game away just moments later. In that same press conference, he admitted, quote, ‘we will use every tool in the toolbox to delay.’”

*“NBC Frauds Allow Biden to Skate by in Evening of Softies; Only One Question from the Right”— Curtis Houck

*Florida: Trump 45.2, Biden 45.0– Suffolk University/USA TODAY poll. ”Overall, are you better off or worse off than you were four years ago?” 54% to 26%!

We’re saving the most preposterous for last

*“Joe Biden’s advantage over President Donald Trump has expanded and the former vice president now holds his widest lead of the cycle with less than a month remaining before Election Day, according to a new nationwide CNN Poll conducted by SSRS. Among likely voters, 57% say they back Biden and 41% Trump in the poll that was conducted entirely after the first debate and mostly after the President’s coronavirus infection was made public”—CNN

So, what can we say?

Let me start with something I didn’t reference. On February 19, 2019,  Notre Dame Club of Washington, D.C., hosted “An Evening with Judge Amy Coney Barrett” [www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HMAHnT-y7c]. If anyone—even hardened pro-abortion Democrats—watched her respond to the friendly questions from Notre Dame alum Megan Wold , they would come away marveling at what a wonderful human being she is and what a great family she is raising with her husband, Jess.

Wold’s last question was, “When it’s all over what do you want ‘them’ to say about you?” Judge Barrett responded, “That she loved well.”

Sen. Majority Leader McConnell remains, as columnist and talk show host Hugh Hewitt wrote yesterday in the Washington Post, “the indispensable man.” We reposted almost the entirety of his remarks delivered on the Senate floor Monday. In his inimitable fashion, he quietly, patiently, thoroughly demolished pro-abortion Democrats objections to going ahead with Judge Barrett’s confirmation.

He made many important points—besides the obvious political agenda of Democrats—including what they are about to do, beginning October 12, is nothing new in the time of Covid-19:

The Chairman [Sen. Lindsey Graham] has indicated the Committee will use the same hybrid format — with some participants appearing in person and others appearing over video — that it has successfully used for more than 20 prior hearings this year.

Let me say that again. The Judiciary Committee alone has held more than 20 hybrid hearings since the start of this pandemic.

There are lots of polls floating around. If CNN were capable of being ashamed, its latest monstrosity—showing Biden supposedly ahead by 16 points—would have them in full blush mode. Nobody, but nobody believes this is even marginally accurate, but it serves the shamelessly partisan purposes of the Trump-hating CNN.

A better gauge comes out of Florida where the latest Suffolk University/USA Today poll has them deadlocked at 45%. However, a key number for any incumbent is how people feel about their lives:

Overall, are you better off or worse off than you were four years ago?”

By a whopping 2-1 margin–54% to 26%–respondents said better off!

You should read Curtis Houck’s Newsbusters post in its entirety. It begins

For the second time in a month, Joe Biden participated in a TV townhall and faced voters. But as was the case with CNN’s September 17 affair, on Monday, NBC rolled out the red carpet for the Democrat in Florida with an evening full of softballs

Biden is treated with kid gloves while President Trump is barraged with hostile inquiries. Nowhere was that better illustrated than in the first debate.

But, what else is new? Can we hope for better when Susan Page of USA Today moderates tomorrow night’s debate between pro-life Vice President Mike Pence and  pro-abortion Sen. Kamala Harris?

Yes…we can hope.
