Reports about divorce plans are surfacing between celebrity couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West after West began speaking out publicly against abortion this summer.
The Sun reports sources close to the family said Kardashian is “planning to divorce” her husband because his mental health problems and pro-life beliefs have hurt their marriage.
Kardashian, a reality TV show star, and West, a rap artist, have four children together. According to The Source, their marriage “has been crumbling for years, but it hit a peak when [West] publicly expressed his anti-abortion stance while tearfully revealing that his firstborn child, North West, was almost aborted.”
Recently, Kardashian wrote on social media about being unable to sleep. Sources close to the family said she is frustrated because West has bipolar and “refuses to stick to his care plan,” the report states.
“Kim has the whole divorce planned out, but she’s waiting for him to get through his latest episode,” the source told Page Six. “He’s on very thin ice with her right now, and she’s truly trying to decide what to do to protect the kids but also her own sanity. The whole thing is discouraging and difficult for her.”

West’s bizarre behavior has drawn massive attention for years. Earlier this year, he announced plans to run for president of the United States and, during a campaign rally, broke down in tears when he revealed how he and Kardashian almost aborted their oldest daughter.
“My mom saved my life. My dad wanted to abort me,” West said in July. “My mom saved my life. There would have been no Kanye West because my dad was too busy.”
Then, he broke down and started crying.
“I almost killed my daughter!” he screamed. “I almost killed my daughter!”
“[Kim] called me screaming and crying … she said, ‘I’m pregnant’ … She said she was pregnant and for one month, and two months, and three months we talked about her not having this child. She had the pills in her hand,” West continued. “The screen went black and white and God said, ‘If you f— with my vision, I’m gonna f— with yours.’ And I called my wife, and she said, ‘We’re gonna have this baby.’ I said, ‘We’re gonna have this child.’”
Afterward, reports hinted that Kardashian was upset with her husband for sharing the personal details about their child.
She and her family have been vocal supporters of the Planned Parenthood abortion chain and have promoted it on their show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” In 2017, Kim and her sisters visited one of its facilities on their show to promote the misleading claim that abortions are just a small part of what Planned Parenthood does.
Meanwhile, West continues to speak out against abortion. In late August, he said abortion has led to a “black genocide” against babies in the womb during Nick Cannon’s podcast “Cannon’s Class.”
In July, West also blasted the Planned Parenthood abortion chain as a “white supremacists’” organization that does the “devil’s work” in an interview with Forbes Magazine. Then, in August, he wrote a series of posts on Twitter mourning how the abortion industry targets unborn black babies and mothers for abortions.
“Over 22,500,000 black babies have been aborted over the past 50 years,” West wrote.
Previously, he said he does not think abortions should be illegal, but society should provide more support to help mothers choose life for their unborn babies.
