Just One Pregnancy Center Saved 575 Babies From Abortion, There are Thousands Nationwide

Recently I attended an event that was “very 2020”—a virtual celebration of the work of a local pregnancy resource center.

Speaker after speaker during the cyberspace event attested to the tremendous achievements of one of the busiest pro-life pregnancy help centers in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Morning Star Pregnancy Services (https://morningstarclinics.com) is a haven where pregnant women receive the help they need to restore their hope in themselves and their families. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, since the onset of COVID-19, more than 100 women who connected with Morning Star have chosen life for their babies.

Morning Star’s statistical scorecard from 2019 is equally impressive. In 2019, the pregnancy resource center recorded a whopping 3,655 client visits. That included 848 positive pregnancy tests and 1,447 ultrasounds. The Morning Star team has a goal of achieving 2,000 ultrasounds, because they know that ultrasounds save lives.

In all, some 575 women who made contact with Morning Star in 2019 chose life for their children. Think about that number.

That would be the equivalent of more than 20 kindergarten classes. It is frightening to think what would have happened to those precious children, and what grief their mothers would have suffered, if they did not have Morning Star to turn to.

Morning Star is just one of the thousands of pregnancy centers around the country that are saving lives, restoring hope, and generating healing each day. Is it any wonder that pro-life pregnancy resource centers far outnumber abortion facilities, which provide a cold-hearted offer to take the lives of innocent preborn children?

Pregnancy centers are the first line of defense in the effort to save our society from the culture of death. They also represent an important safety net once the tragic U.S. Supreme Court ruling Roe v. Wade is overturned. I once heard a Planned Parenthood official pose the question, “Where will they go?” when asked about pregnant women in a post-Roe world.

The answer is as close as your region’s nearest pregnancy help center.
