Sarah Sanders: How Can Joe Biden be a “Nice Guy” When He Shows No Compassion for Unborn Babies

In her new book, Speaking for Myself: Faith, Freedom, and the Fight of Our Lives Inside the Trump White House, former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders offers a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the Trump Administration.

Sanders also sums up well the choice facing voters in November.

She writes, “Even though President Trump was the incumbent, he was still the outsider, disruptor, and change agent against Biden, the ultimate Washington insider and representative of the status quo. Biden was a liberal career politician who has been part of the problem for fifty years.”

Of course we know that part of the long-standing problem in Washington has been a failure to protect the most vulnerable among us, especially preborn babies. President Trump has tried to correct this grave fault by pursuing policies that respect the dignity and value of unborn human lives.

The President has successfully reinstated and then expanded on the Mexico City Policy, ensuring that our hard-earned tax dollars do not go to organizations that perform or promote abortions overseas. He has reined in spending for Planned Parenthood and would cut off funding for the abortion giant entirely, were it not for a recalcitrant pro-abortion U.S. House of Representatives.

Sanders rightfully skewers Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden for promoting a false image of care and concern, while adopting policies that will harm preborn children and their mothers.

“…’nice guy’ Joe Biden with all his ‘empathy’ and ‘compassion’ supported taxpayer-funded abortion, showing no compassion whatsoever for the weakest and most vulnerable among us—the unborn child,” Sanders writes.

Biden and his party are determined to end the Hyde Amendment, which cuts almost all federal funding of abortion. Our experience as a nation shows us that when tax dollars pay for abortion, abortion totals skyrocket. That brings with it the tragedy of more deaths and more grief for mothers and fathers who lose their babies to abortion.

In speaking for herself, Sanders speaks for those who cannot speak for themselves—innocent unborn Americans.

So does her former boss, who proclaims this powerful truth: “Every child is precious and a sacred gift from God. Together, we must protect, cherish, and defend the dignity and sanctity of every human life.”
