President Trump Slams Joe Biden on Abortion: “He Supports Baby Execution”

At a recent campaign stop in Nevada, President Donald trump didn’t mince words when it comes to Joe Biden’s radical abortion position. The president said Biden, who is trying to portray himself as a moderate Catholic who takes moderate views, favored “after-term abortion, which is basically baby execution.”

President Trump is right.

By picking Senator Kamaral Harris as his running mate, Joe Biden has reaffirmed his commitment to abortion on demand at any time for any reason and paid for by taxpayers. Kamala Harris is the poster child for the extreme pro-abortion position of the Democratic Party.

Harris was one of the Democrats in the Senate to essentially vote for infanticide. Harris is one of the Democrat senators who voted to block a bill that would have protected babies who survive abortions and prevent them from being left do die after a botched abortion. The vote to stop the Democrat filibuster needed 60 votes but Democrats stopped the chamber from getting enough.

During the debate, Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska noted how pro-abortion Democrats refused to stand up and explain why they would block a vote to save babies from infanticide.

He said, “I urge my colleagues to picture a baby that’s already been born, that’s outside the womb gasping for air. That’s the only thing that today’s vote is actually about. We’re talking about babies that have already been born. Nothing in this bill touches abortion access.”

Not only did Biden never condemn Democrats for blocking the anti-infanticide bill, he selected a potential vice president who had no problem with, as Trump terms it, “after-term abortion.”

SIGN THE PLEDGE: We Can’t Vote for Pro-Abortion Joe Biden

“Sen. Harris supports a policy of abortion on demand at any time, any where, and under any circumstances,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life. “Sadly, both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris see the lives of precious unborn babies as expendable. Joe Biden could not have picked a more extreme pro-abortion running mate.”

Tobias added, “Sen. Harris is so extreme on abortion she opposes even the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, legislation to protect unborn children from abortion after 20 weeks, when they are capable of feeling excruciating pain during dismemberment or other late abortion methods.”

Previously, Trump has also said there is no separation between Biden and Democrat governor Ralph Northam of Virginia, who said last year that he supported infanticide — where parents can just keep a baby “comfortable” after birth until the baby dies if they don’t want to bother with providing life-saving medical care and treatment.

SIGN THE PLEDGE: I’m Voting for President Donald Trump!

“Look at the governor of Virginia, look at what he did. He did an execution after. You know, normally you talk about late-term, his wasn’t late-term, his was, the baby was born, and then you can execute the baby. That’s the Democrats. That’s Joe Biden,” Trump said.

Trump is right.

Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats continue to refuse a request to allow a vote on the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, legislation that would stop infanticide and provide medical care and treatment for babies who survive abortions.

Last year, House Democrats refused a vote on the Born Alive bill for the 80th time — reading the same statement they have read the previous 79 occasions that claims there is no bipartisan agreement to bring the bill up for a vote. Despite the claim, Republican leaders have repeatedly asked Pelosi and top Democrats to reach an agreement for the bill to receive a vote.

Not only has Joe Biden refused to condemn this, but he put on his campaign team some of the same people who refused to support the anti-infanticide bill.

U.S. Sen. Chris Dodd of Connecticut and U.S. Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester of Delaware headed up his panel to select a vice presidential nominee. Both refuse to allow a vote on the Born Alive bill.

Biden recently said he would be committed to “the constitutional right to an abortion” and “reverse the Trump administration and states’ all-out assault on women’s right to choose.” He also promised to “work to codify Roe v. Wade.” The infamous U.S. Supreme Court decision made the United States one of only seven countries in the world that allows elective abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

His health care plan would expand abortions as well. It would force insurance companies to cover abortions as “essential” health care under Obamacare.

What’s more, pro-abortion movement leaders say they “trust” Biden to protect abortion on demand.

From 2001 to 2008, Biden’s voting record on pro-life issues was close to zero, according to the National Right to Life Committee. In 2005, for example, he voted against the Mexico City Policy, which prohibits funding to overseas groups that promote and/or perform abortions. He also voted repeatedly to require that military service members’ abortions be covered by taxpayer dollars.

SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser has also called out Democrats for their extremism.

“Americans of all political stripes are disgusted by this extreme, inhumane position and we are confident that will be reflected at the ballot box this November. President Trump stands ready to sign the popular, compassionate Born-Alive legislation into law. It is national Democrats – from the party’s leading presidential contenders to Nancy Pelosi – who stand squarely in the way of protecting these innocent children from being left to die,” she said.

Leading pro-life groups have endorsed President Trump for re-election.
