Abortion Clinics Fight Inspections Tooth and Nail Because Killing Babies Isn’t Health Care

To an unbiased third party, it makes perfect sense that abortion clinics meet minimum health and safety standards. Yet is there  anything—anything—the Abortion Industry fights against harder?

Why does not only PPFA but all the other “independent abortion providers” (who annihilate essentially all but 5% of the babies not killed by Planned Parenthood) go to the mat whenever they hear the four-letter word “inspection”?

There’s the usual talking points, based on the confidence that if repeated enough times, people will believe it to be true. For example (at the top of the list), abortion is safe, safe, and (did we mention?) safe, so inspections are a waste of time.

Or the Abortion Industry is and ought to be self-regulating (try that anywhere else). And so forth.

But the real reason they are so panicky is the fear that inspections are not only mandatory but — from their perspective worse — unannounced.  Were all abortion clinics in all 50 states checked fairly but rigorously, the Abortion Industry’s insistence that abortionist/thrice convicted of first-degree murder Kermit Gosnell was an “outlier” would fold like a cheap suit.

The Abortion Industry, headed by Planned Parenthood,  counts on the willingness of local and state medical and political officials to look away. Eyes averted, this means the local abortion clinic can be as slovenly and as unsafe as it wishes, with no concern there will be consequences—if you disregard what happens to women, that is.

The 261-page-long Gosnell Grand Jury report (which you should read once a year) offered mounds of evidence proving conclusively that terrible things were happening at Gosnell’s Women’s Medical Society, and yet the Department of Health did not set foot in his abortion clinic for 16 years!

The death peddlers also count on the 2016 Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt Supreme Court decision to immunize them from meeting basic health and safety standards.

Early in the Gosnell Grand Jury report, there is a subsection titled, “Murder in plain sight.”

Never has the phrase, “There are none so blind as those who will not see,” been more applicable.
