National Right to Life, the nation’s largest pro-life group with affiliates in all 50 states and over 3,000 local chapters nationwide, has endorsed Senator Martha McSally (R-AZ) for re-election.
“National Right to Life is pleased to endorse Senator Martha McSally for re-election,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life. “Senator McSally maintained a pro-life voting record during her time in the Senate, and previously when she served in the U.S. House. She has supported compassionate proposals to safeguard unborn children and their mothers from the pain of abortion.”
Senator McSally voted for the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. This legislation would protect unborn children at 20 weeks, a point by which the unborn child is capable of experiencing great pain when being killed by dismemberment or other late abortion methods.
Senator McSally voted for the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. This Act would require that a baby born alive during an abortion be afforded the same degree of care that would apply to any other child delivered at the same gestational age.
Senator McSally voted numerous times against using tax dollars to pay for abortion, and she opposes taxpayer funding of abortion providers.

By contrast, her opponent, Mark Kelly, supports a policy of abortion on demand, which allows abortion for any reason. Kelly is backed by national pro-abortion groups that are committed to repealing the life-saving Hyde Amendment and forcing Americans to pay for abortions. He publicly opposed the confirmation of Justice Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court.
“Senator McSally has worked to see that all innocent human life is protected, and she is committed to strengthening a culture of life throughout the nation and in the U.S. Senate,” said Tobias. “We look forward to continuing our important work with Senator McSally to protect the most vulnerable members of the human family.”
